The Electricity Between Us (DISCONTINUED)

• Chapter 3 •

"Alright, well. As you know, yesterday I assigned this drill. I chose your teams and opponents already. I'll now announce the first  two teams who'll be going for the first round." Me. Aizawa dully states.

"Alright then, Aoyama and Mineta vs Shoji and Koda.." the four of them steeped on the large platform and prepared themselves. Koda was already a step ahead by muttering instructions to all the nearby creatures. "Start."

Aoyama attacked first with his navel laser, and it grazed one of Shoji's dupli arms. But from behind mineta and Aoyama about 12 crows and squirrels attacked from behind them. And some of them got stuck to Mineta's hair, so they couldn't really fly away. Jirou couldn't help but laugh as Mineta struggled with them without end.

"Stop, Shoji and Koda have won this match." The two cheered while Aoyama and Mineta sighed and walked off the platform.

The matches steadily progressed until it was Kaminari and Jirou's turn up.

Jirou stepped onto the large, metal platform being nervous and confident at the the same time. She had her eyes locked on Sato. She was in charge of signaling Kaminari for when Sato ran out of sugar. Plus the two of them needed to dodge their attacks thoroughly.

Kaminari glanced over at Jirou, who was ready for the fight, so he got into position beside her.

"Ready.. go" Aizawa announced. Kirishima hardened his arms and charged at the two.

Just as we expected, Kirishima dashes in to save Sato some time for the sugar. Jirou thought. She wait for Kaminari to circle around Kirishima.

She plugged her jack into the speaker causing a loud beating heartbeat to cause him to fumble back. That let Kaminari get behind Kirishima.

Kaminari ran up to Sato very quickly while he was about to pour the sugar into his mouth.
He only had a small amount of sugar in his mouth at that moment, but, a electric disk came flying and shot the sugar bag out of Sato's hand and slicing it in half

The sugar spilled all over the platform, and Sato couldn't use it now. So he had to use what little time he had with the little sugar he had.

Kaminari smirked and dodged his powerful attacks and caused Sato to waste his energy.

Meanwhile Jirou was dodging perfectly and was leading Kirishima to Kaminari and Sato.
Jirou noticed the spilled sugar and used her jack to wrap around Kirishima's neck and drag him into the sugar pile. His foot slipped and Jirou let go of him and watched him fall backwards.

Jirou suddenly was punched By Sato from behind, but it wasn't as powerful as it should have been. Which was exactly was supposed to to happen.

Jirou dodged another punch and sharply swerved around him.

"Kaminari, he's out!" Jirou shouted as she shoved Sato back onto Kirishima. She ran as far away from kaminari as she can.

Kaminari started to spark electricity everywhere and he tried his best to focus the direction of it to Sato and Kirishima, who were starting to arise. Then he he shot it at them with mega voltage.

Sato and Kirishima screamed in agony as it shocked them with no mercy. When the electricity field had subsided, Jirou ran up close to them and stuck her earphone jack in their ears, causing more screaming.

"Stop! The match has concluded, and the winning Hero duo is Kaminari and Jirou. Can somebody take the other two to the nurse?" Aizawa stopped the match and eyed Jirou and Kaminari.

"You two did well. You knew ahead of time who your opponents were and created the perfect strategy to defeat them. Kirishima and Sato are strong opponents. In all honesty, you shouldn't have been able to beat them with your own strength quite yet. But you took notice of that and used that against them. I'm impressed by you both." Complimented Mr. Aizawa.

The rest of the class just stared and awe at Kaminari and Jirou trying to process what they just saw in the battle and what they just heard from Aizawa.

"Oh my god, Kaminari we DID IT!" We passed the drill! Ecstatic, Jirou jumped into Kaminari's arms as his brain was majorly short circuited. He had his derpy face and his thumbs up 👍. But after a few moments he came back and realized that Jirou was hugging him tightly, so that caused him to blush.

After Class at the dorms, everybody was hanging out in the living room.

"Jirou, you and Kaminari were amazing today!" Midoryia told her enthusiastically. "How did you know that you were up up against Sato And Kirishima?!"

"Uhm, well yesterday at lunch I bumped into Mr. Aizawa and asked if he had set up the teams yet. And then he told me  who me and Kaminari were up against. So I made sure we used that to our full advantage.." Jirou explained to Midoryia, and he wrote it all down.

He was probably taking a note that said ' note: use every bit of information you can get to your advantage.'

Mina, Uraraka, Hagekure, And Yaoyorozu all walked up to her as soon as Midoryia left.

"I was so impressed when you grabbed Kirishima by the neck and made him slip in the sugar that Sato couldn't use anymore." Uraraka smiled happily.

"But you can't forget the part where she plugged her Earphone jack in Kirishima and Sato's ears. That must have been horrible!" Hagekure reminded them.

"But the MOST IMPORTANT part was when Jirou jumped into Kaminari's arms!" Mina bubbly began. She grabbed a  carrot and held it up to Jirou, " uhm hello Mrs. Jirou-San. Can you tell us what it was like to be in the arms of someone you love?" She pretended the carrot was a Mic.

"Stop it!" Jirou blushed and pushed the carrot away. Only to be bitten by Hagekure's invisible mouth.

"Mmm, this one is good!" She said. The girls just stopped and stared at the talking, floating Ua uniform. They started laughing.

"Oh Jirou look! Your bae Kaminari is headed towards you!" Mina gleefully pointed, and all the girls giggled and ran off somewhere else.

Jirou turned to see Kaminari, who was just pointed at by Mina, in front of her.

"I can't believe that we actually did it! If I wasn't teamed up with you, then I probably would have failed that drill today. I'm glad I was paired with you, Jirou." Kaminari smiled at Her and held up His hand.

Jirou gave him a puzzled look, only to get a puzzled look returned from Kaminari. Instead of more awkward silence, he decided to make it even more awkward by grabbing her hand and clapping it against his.

"It is called a high five, in case you didn't know." Kaminari joked.

Jirou was taken by surpise and slapped him out of sudden shock.

"I know what a high five is, you idiot!" Jirou scolded Kaminari as he bent down and held his cheek that had a bright red hand print stamped onto it.

"Ow ow ow, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Kaminari apologized quickly to her. "Spare me from the earphone jack I beg you!"

Jirou smirked and slowly reached one of her jacks out to Kaminari to playfully threaten him.

Horrified of the thing, Kaminari smacked it down with a "NO!"

Jirou paused, then started laughing nonstop at him.

"Oh my god Denki what the hell was that?!" She kept laughing until she realized something. She accidentally addressed him by his first name.

But nobody but Kaminari was listening, and even he didn't catch it.
