The Electricity Between Us (DISCONTINUED)

• Chapter 4 •

It was thundering outside of the dorm building, and rain was pouring down. The pit patter of the raindrops hit puddles everywhere the eye could see.

"Man, it is really pouring, isn't it?"  Midoryia mumbled to himself. Everybody in class 1-A was in the main room, bored. We can't  go out and train while it was storming. That would be too dangerous due to the thunder and lightning." He went off into his mumbling fiasco and the other students did their best to ignore it.

"So.. what do we do in the meantime?" Kirishima Asked. Kaminari looked like he had an idea.

"How about we all.. uhm, Wait, no, I forgot what I was going to say.." Jirou stood beside Kaminari as he said that.

"You Idiot! How can you forget something as quickly as you thought of it?!" She hissed at Kaminari, causing some people to laugh.

"Let's think carefully with what we want to do with our free time. How about study?" Iida said pointing a finger up. Just then a thunderbolt was shot and everybody flinched.

The rain got heavier and louder, and the girls tried their best to keep Asui from running outside. Something like this always happened when it rained..ha.

"Hey, even the storm said 'No Thanks Iida, i think I'll pass' to you!" Kirishima smiles with a slight chuckle.

There was a slight gasp of dissatisfaction from Iida and Kaminari started to join in the teasing.

"I guess the thunder hates homework too, huh?" He joked.

Jirou had loosened her grip on Asui as she joyfully listened to the hums Of Kaminari and Kirishima. That lead to, the slippery thing she is, Asui getting loose and barging our the door.

"Oh-" Jirou muttered as she stared blankly at the The frog girl jumping at frolicking in the showers of the rain.

The girls turned their heads from where the frog girl just stood and glared at Jirou. They knew Jirou was dreamily watching Kaminari goof around.

"S-Sorry, That was my fault." Jirou gawked.

Yaoyorozu put a hand on her shoulder, "Eh, don't worry about it, we'll go get her when she passes out due to the cold."

"Ok.."

The majority of everybody in the dorms stayed downstairs to wait for Asui to fall asleep outside.

"Brr.. who turned on the ac?" Hagakure shivered as her invisible hands rubbed the sleeves of her invisible arms. iNvIsiBlE-

Everyone shook their heads. Nobody turned on the Ac. But how could it be so cold?

"I'll go grab the extra blankets from the attic, if I'm correct, six people will have to share the leftover threes blankets." Midoryia told everybody.

"I CALL DIBS, I AINT ShARING A DUMB BLANKET WITH ANY OF YOU WANNABES!" Bakugo hollared, shoving Midoryia out of the way.

"Heey~ Bakugo That isn't how this works!" Mina whines running after him. Midoryia eventually got to his feet to go help pass them out.

"Here, sorry but Kaminari and Jirou will have to share, the other two blankets will be used by Todoroki, Yaoyorozu, Tokoyami and Asui." Midoryia hefted one of the blankets into Kaminari's arms.

His face started to blush and Jirou's was a tomato as she stood beside him. Some of the girls looked at Yaoyorozu and Jirou with evil grins.

"Stop it.." the two girls muttered, as Kaminari just stood there, his eyes frozen to the blanket with his mouth halfway open in shock.

"Oh, look! Asui is down!" Sato pointed to the window. Asui lay in the rain soundly asleep.

"Who is going to get her?" Somebody asked.

"I volunteer as tribute!!" Iida raised his hand swiftly and firmly. There was a shining glare in his glasses.

"So uh, Jirou it's kind of colder now, we should probably get into the blanket now.." kaminari spoke to Jirou.

"R-Right.." Jirou answered him.

Kaminari unfolded the blanket and put it over his own shoulders. Then he used his other arm to grab one of the blanket, wrapping his arm around Jirou.

The cozy blanket for snuggly around the two's soft bodies, making sure not to leave a single gap between them.

Heat started to radiate between them. The two say in silence as everyone around them had their own conversation.

Jirou turned her head to the sound of Yaoyorozu and Todoroki scooting across the floor to them.

"Hello." Todoroki said with his blank expression. Yaoyorozu had a bright smile.

Kaminari's blushing face looked relieved to see Todoroki there. He felt a little uncomfortable, though he was physically comfortable with Jirou leaning up against him.

"We thought that you guys looked a little lonely, so we came over here o change the mood a bit." Yaoyorozu beamed.

Jirou gave her best friend a look that said 'No teasing' and Yaoyorozu returned with 'Didn't plan on it'.

Kaminari looked puzzled at what the girls where doing. "Why are you guys making weird faces at eachother?" He asked, but neither girls answered.

"Simple female communication system." Todoroki states as the girls continued to talk "telepathically".

Kaminari snorted out of amusement. "I didn't know you could joke like that Todoroki."

A sound of a door clicking was heard as Iida and Asui drowsily walked through the door. Asui made her way over to Tokoyami. She literally attached her body onto his latching on tightly with her arms.

Tokoyami's black, feathery face started to blush instantly as Asui hung herself on him.

Everybody turned and saw another ship had taken sail.

"If I remember correctly, after it rains frogs start to mate wit eachother, and it seems that Asui's quirk was attracted to that fact, so she attached herself to a male she particularly liked.." Yaoyorozu explained a fact she learned about frogs.

Tokoyami's face grew as hot as the sun.

"Don't worry Tokoyami, just hope that it doesn't rain during mating season~" Mina cheered.

Dark shadow suddenly popped up and added, "Ooh I'd like to see that happen!" With what little movement Asui allowed him to do, Tokoyami slapped Dark shadow's voided face.

"How rude of you!!" Dark shadow had hissed and hid himself back in Tokoyami.

Mineta was cursing under his breath about how Asui should have attached herself to him instead.

Kaminari tried to reach out to put his hand on Tokoyami's shoulder, except.. part of the blanket got got under his feet when he reached over Jirou's head.

That caused Kaminari to topple onto her. The two were in an awkward position, both of their chest touching. Kaminari's arm held part of him up so he wasn't putting all of his weight on her.

Nobody in the room spoke for a while. The just stared. They stared at Kaminari and Jirou for the longest while and then looked over to the bird and the frog, as Asui nuzzled Tokoyami's neck.

".." kaminari felt Jirou's breathing against his neck. Normally she would harm him in some minor way, but this time? This time she didn't do anything but let him lay on her.

Everyone sat in silence as the rain poured down, and the top ships sailed along the sea.
