PROLOUGE

Y/N

Fake relationships were something I was never a fan of. I hated the thought of it because it was certain that in the end, someone would get hurt. Someone would get their heartbroken because they fell in love.

It was sickening to think of people being played that way. I never thought it'd happen to me or that people even thought of doing it. There is no remorse for the one who gets their heartbroken because they put themselves into that situation.

It was almost impossible to believe that I would put myself in that situation but I did. I did the thing I hated the most all the prove a point. A point that just because you're good looking doesn't mean everyone falls for you. It's because of personality and I got to know his. His personality was so much different than what he lead on with in school. Outside of school, he was a completely different person. He was funny, sweet, caring, and adorable.

He loved his parents so much and his siblings.

His eyes lit up talking about the things he loves to do. I noticed just how bright they get when talking about his love for music. Or when he's talking about his family and friends. His friends were very rowdy. They were funny.

It was always surprising to figure out new things about him that know one but his family and friends knew.

At school, he was different. He was rude, a bully, the entire typical bad boy thing. His entire group of friends were also like that. They were different outside of school. Knowing people like that, I don't know, it was annoying.

Why act like someone else in school but be yourself outside of school? Why put up an act? I didn't understand it.

It was hard to understand why there were people like that. It was hard to get a grasp on what they're actually like. "Let's make a deal," He had told me one day. There was a constant bicker between him and me, my friends questioned on why he would always bother me. I couldn't answer because I didn't know either.

It was moody day for me and had just finished telling him that I would not, for the life of me, ever agree to date him. Or ever fall in love with him. I had responded with a emotionless face, "Yeah? What would that be?"

Truth be told, he was good looking but I just couldn't understand why people would willingly agree to go out with him. They knew what he did but they still agreed, thinking they could change him.

"Well, it's easy, be my girlfriend. Fake, of course, and if you fall in love with me then well, what happens after that will be determined on your answer."

"You couldn't make me fall in love with you if I gave you all the time in the world," I crossed my arms over my chest.

"All I need is forty days, love. At the end of the forty days, if you fall in love with me or even take a remote liking to me then I take your spot as the class president. If you don't, then I'll stop bothering you." He had leaned against the locker behind him with his arms crossed and an eyebrow raised.

His gray hair flipped neatly. Black pants, black shirt, and a black leather jacket. He smirked lightly taking notice to my staring before speaking, "Do we have a deal?"

Threatening my spot as class president is probably was got me to agree to the deal. You see, I was well know at school. Class president, head of the cheerleading squad but didn't treat anyone like they were lower than me. I didn't treat anyone like they weren't equal. I probably shouldn't have taken the deal. I should've known the outcome of it.

I should've known that I would catch feelings.
