CHAPTER SEVEN
READY?

DAY TWO

Y/N

I walked outside with my bag monday morning and locked the front door before I turn around and get into the Chan's car. "Morning." He greets when I shut the door.

"Morning." I greeted back placing my bag on the floor of the car.

"Are you ready for today?" He asks as he drives off towards the school. No, I was not ready for today. So many things could go wrong today. People could figure out that it's fake. "Hey, Y/N, don't be nervous." Chan says after my moments of silence.

"I- I'll try but I can't promise it. You know that there are people who will literally kill just to date you." I told him and he chuckled softly. I look over at him seeing that his smile showed off his dimples and his eyes form into little crescents.

"Are you one of them?"

"You wish, Chris." I scoffed rolling my eyes. Chan laughed again and I just shook my head looking down at my phone texting Emma. Soon enough Chan was pulling into the schools parking lot and I felt my nerves come back as I exited the car.

Already people were staring and I tightened my grip on the strap of my bag. Chan came over to me and grabbed onto my free hand, locking out fingers.

"Loosen up, baby girl." Chan whispered in my ear and I felt my cheeks heat up again.

"Why do you keep calling me that?" I asked looking at him. He just smirks and looks in front of him ignoring my question. I look down at the ground not wanting to see the stares.

"Oh my god, he's actually with her. Hold up- she actually agreed to date him?" I heard a girl whisper to her friend as we walked passed them. There were more whispers but I ignored them.

"Baby, calm down." Chan whispered in my ear when he noticed my nerves kick in again. "Are we going to your locker or the student council room?"

"My locker." I answered and he nodded picking up our pace towards my locker. I pulled my hand from his grip and opened up my locker grabbing the books I need for today. I put them into my bag and then lead the way to the student council room. "Okay, I actually have a meeting so I'll see you at lunch." I tell him before I enter the room.

Chan shouted something to me before I shut the door but I didn't hear what he said. I walk over to my seat and look around the room. No one else was here yet so I had time to set up whatever needed to be.

The door opened about fifteen minutes later causing me to look up. "Morning, Y/N."

"Morning, Woojin." I smiled softly and looked away from him going back to writing in my planner. I was still awkward around him since saturday because of what happened but he's still my best friend. I knew that things were going to be awkward but mostly because I'm making it that way. "Do you know if Mrs. Park is going to be here today? I need to give her something." I asked breaking the silence.

"Yeah, she's here. I saw her walk into the office." He answered. I nodded muttering a thanks turning back to my work again. I needed to finish planning the school dance that would be in three weeks.

"What band should we have?" I asked Woojin looking at the list in front of me.

"What the options?" He asks just as the door opens and Emma walks in. She gives us a smile as she takes a seat next to Woojin.

"Day6 or our school band. Those are the only ones we can get for the winter dance." I answered. "Emma, what do you think?" I asked.

"I think we go for Day6. They will be the best bet we have to keep everyone entertained and I'm not just saying this because I'm in the school band and don't want to be entertainment." Emma answered and I laughed. Emma was in the school band but hated being entertainment for events she wanted to go to.

"I agree with Emma, we should have Day6." Woojin spoke up and I nodded circling their name on the list putting my pen down. "All we need is a theme now, right?" Woojin asks and I nod my head.

"Yeah but we'll wait for everyone to get here before we do that." I replied leaning back in my chair.

Three hours later after two of my worst classes, it was finally lunch and I was heading towards my locker to put my books away before going to the cafeteria. I told Woojin about the every other day thing and he agreed so I gave him the things that needed to be done and if he needed help to just call.

I made it to my locker and saw Chan standing there with one hand in his pocket and the other holding his phone as he scrolled through it. I opened my locker and he looked up. He watched as I put my books away before shutting the locker when he noticed I was done.

"Are you ready?" He asks.

"Yeah, let's get this over with." I answered and he took my hand in his walking down the hall to the cafeteria.

Nope, definitely not ready.
