Kim Woojin my best friend, the one who kissed me, and indirectly told me that he loves me. I couldn't return his feelings and I knew that hurt him but I just knew that he would get over it eventually. I hated that I was doing this to him but I couldn't love him.

I couldn't see him as anything other then my best friend, I just couldn't even if I wanted too. "Y/N, are you okay?" Chan asked ripping me out of my trance.

"Yeah, I'm good." I answered looking at him. Truthfully, I wasn't. I hated how awkward things were with Woojin and I. We've been best friends for years and I can't lose his friendship. It would hurt so much to lose him. "I actually have to go. I'll see you later." I grabbed my bag getting up to leave the cafeteria. I walk to the student council room, hoping Woojin is still there.

I had to talk to him about this. We had to talk about it.

I walked into the room, seeing Woojin sitting at the table alone. "Woo, can we talk?" I ask softly shutting the door behind me, going to sit next to him. Woojin looks up from the stack of papers making eye contact with me and nods.

"Okay, well first things first, I can't lose you as my best friend. We've been through so much together and it would hurt to lose you." I told him and he kept the eye contact with me. I could see the hurt in his eyes, still and I hated knowing that it's there because of me.

"I- I don't want that either but there's no doubt that things are awkward between us. I- I actually think it would be good for us to not see each other for a while. At least until I'm over whatever it is that I'm feeling. We're best friends and that will never change." He explains.

"I- I agree. I mean- I'll still see you around school and at meetings so it's not like we won't see each other."

"Exactly. Anyway, I am actually done with everything today so I'll see you around." I nod and watch as Woojin gathers his things before leaving the room.

CHAN

"Do you even care about her, Chan? Or are you just messing with her like she's dumb toy of yours?" Minho asks earlier in the day when he came marching into my room, wanting answers. I just stared at him blankly until he asked that question.

"Yes, I care about her. What do you even care?" I asked getting up from my bed. He stared at me with a glare and I crossed my arms.

"You don't even talk to her anymore and now you're suddenly interested in who she dates? If I didn't know any better I'd say that you're still in love with her." Minho went silent and looked anywhere else but at me. "Oh my god,"

"That doesn't matter, Christopher. My feelings don't matter but hers do. Her feelings matter and if she even cries because of you- I swear to you that you won't like what comes next." Minho hissed.

"What could you possibly do? There's nothing you could do to me, Minho."

"You have no idea of what I could do, Christopher. She deserves so much and you can't give her anything. You're nothing but someone who just plays with people and she knows that. She won't love you even if you begged her." Minho said through gritted teeth.

"Then why'd she agree to date me, huh? If she knows what I do then why would she say yes to me, hmm?" I asked even though I knew that exact reason why. "Answer me that and maybe I'll show some mercy when I'm done with her." As much as I hated to say that, I had too.

"You're such a fucking dick! When are you going to learn, Christopher? When are you going to stop being such an asshole and fucking learn, huh? You're gonna end up alone if you keep it up like this and you'll have no one. You're incapable of being loved or to love all because of the shit you constantly pull! No one wants to be with someone like that so Y/N is going to think that she can change you but when she figures out that this isn't some cliche book or movie, she'll stop. She'll stop caring and leave you like everyone will if you keep acting like this." Minho spat before he left my room.

He's right.
