It was the weekend and some of girls decided to go out for drinks, I was quite content at just staying in and watch Crazy Ex-Girlfriend on Netflix but Janice begged me to tag along, I complied to shut her up. The girls were dressed up in short, skin tight dresses that would easily catch any guys attention and platformed heels that accentuated their figure. It was interesting seeing them out of uniform and instead of having such serious, bare faces, their highlighted cheekbones popped in the night-lights with sculptured cheekbones from their contour really brought to my attention that I missed going out late at night with my old girlfriends and getting dressed up from head-to-toe.

"Babe, you ready?" Janice asks as I check myself out in the mirror touching up my lipstick where I accidentally overlined it too much.

"Yeah," I say back as I strap my heels on.

"Good, the uber is waiting outside."

It had been a couple of hours since we had arrived at this nightclub that one of the girls said that we should go to and it wasn't as bad as I had expected it would be. The music vibrated through my body due to the loudness  bass that came from the speakers. We had sat down on a lounge type booth with a coffee table in front of us which we used to hold our glasses and clutches.

"I'm just going to the loo," I say before standing up and tugging down my dress as it rose from when I was sitting.

"I'll come," I nod my head to say 'let's go'. The girl that looks my age follows hot on my heels as we push past hot and sweaty bodies until we find the women's bathroom. I wash my hands as I finished my business in the toilet. I touch up my makeup taking a few glances at the many other girls in the bathroom doing the exact same thing. I take a longer stare at the chick that followed me in here and I realised that I have never even met her.

"What's your name?" I ask making eye-contact with her grey eyes through the mirror.

"Hollie," She smiles with plump lips.

"I'm Oli- "

"I know who you are," She cuts me off before I could even finish.

"Oh," Is all I could say.

"Yeah, I've heard a lot about you. Specifically, from Janice," I nod my head as I grab my phone to quickly check for any important notifications and of course it is dryer than the Atacama Desert. I walk out of the bathroom to be greeted by the endless line of girls waiting their turn.

"Isn't that Harry?" Hollie says rather than ask. I turn my head to the direction in which she was lowkey pointing to and of course it is the man of the hour.

"Mhmm, yeah," I say uninterested but my eyes never leave from where he is sitting. Harry and I are still not on speaking terms for no reason other than his own ego. Joel and I talk everyday and to say that we have gotten closer is an understatement. As for what happened last week; it wasn't anything. Lieutenant Slate wanted to clear everything up after Harry's and I's incident over in Afghanistan awhile ago. He wanted to assure us that it was not personal and that he is just looking out for our best interest.

"Let's go say 'Hi'."

"I'd rather not," I say as she grabs my hand and leads us to the bar where Harry and his friends are sitting next to.

"I'll have two 'Sex on The Beach', please," Hollie flashes her best smile at the bartender giving an extra flirty wink at the end.

"Make that one actually, I'll just have a water, thanks," I need a break from alcohol otherwise I might make myself get alcohol poisoning and that is not fun. Believe me. I check my phone as I sip on my water while we wait for Hollie's drink to be made. I scroll through my Instagram feed as a picture of Harry appears on my screen, it instantly triggers a need for me to stalk his page and that is exactly what I go and do. I read the comments of his recent photo that he uploaded a few days ago, a lot of them were from pretty girls giving him compliments on how good he looks and I'm not going to deny it because, hot damn.
