Night on the Town

hey guys! this chapter is gonna be another mix of murven and bellarke. for those of you that feel bad for Alex, so do i😩. but don't worry, I have a plan for her, that's why I wrote up the character:)

"Hey," Bellamy says, when Clarke wakes. She turns over to look at him.
"Hey," she says, smiling. Bellamy smiles back, then tenses.
"What's wrong?" Clarke asks, grabbing his arm.
"Last night," Bellamy pauses. "I lied to you."
"What?" Clarke sits up. "What do you mean?"
"I told you I liked you. That wasn't true." Bellamy says.
"Are you kidding me, Bellamy?" Clarke starts tearing up.
"Let me finish." Bellamy says smiling. "I told you I liked you, but the truth is, I'm in love with you, Princess."
Clarke's eyes widen with surprise.
"It's soon, I get that. I understand if you don't feel the same way-"
Clarke quickly presses her lips against Bellamy's.
"You're wrong, Blake." Clarke smiles. "I love you."
"You do?"
"Of course. I have ever since the day you gave me a room here when I had no where else to go. I just haven't realized it until now." Clarke smiles.
"Interesting." Bellamy smirks.
"What?"
"I realized it the moment you told your landlord to shove a rent check up his ass," Bellamy laughs.
"Really? Can it be a different time?" Clarke laughs.
"Nope, to late." Bellamy smiles. Clarke's phone dings, and a text pops up.

Bellarkes Children
*raven added Bellamy to the chat*
Raven: hey clarkie and bell, we are on our way home, should be there in about 10 minutes!
Octavia: pls make sure u and Bellamy are dressed
Clarke: I guess we should get up then ;)
Octavia: I'm going to kill you
Clarke: :/
Octavia: im kidding. you make my brother very happy, and that makes me happy:)
Clarke: bellamy told me he loved me!!
Clarke: shit
Clarke: shit
Clarke: I thought this was the private chat between raven, alex, octavia, harper and I...
Monty: oh god here we go
Clarke: what?
Monty: 3...
Monty: 2...
Monty: 1...
Jasper: OMG BELLARKE ITS HAPPENING HOLY SHIT THEY ARE IN LOVE OMG IM MAKING A FANPAGE FOR YOU GUYS OMG ITS GONNA BE CALLED BELLARKESCHILDREN OMG IM SO EXCITED
Clarke: I should've saw that coming.
Bellamy: this is fun but I hope you know, you keep distracting us from getting dressed
Octavia: oH MY GOD GET DRESSED
Murphy: you girls have a private group message without us?
Alex: yeah obviously, where have you been?
Murphy: 🙄
Harper: it's called bellarkes daughters;)
Murphy: oh, in that case I forgive you

Real life
Clarke is standing at her dresser getting dressed, and Bellamy is still in bed.
"They are insane," Bellamy laughs, looking at his phone.
"Imagine how they are going to act when they get here," Clarke smiles.
"I was texting Alex. Apparently her and Murphy broke up," Bellamy says. Clarke turns around slowly.
"They did?" Clarke says.
"Yah, last night at the hotel."
"Are they still friends?"
"Of course they are still friends, nothing could tear them apart. They're like conjoined twins." Bellamy laughs. Clarke sighs and turns around.
"You don't seem surprised," Bellamy sits up.
"When Alex told me you liked me, I asked her how she noticed. And she just said, 'the same way I noticed how Murphy is in love with Raven.'"
"Wow. Poor Alex." Bellamy sighs.
"Yah, poor Alex."
Bellamy stands up and hugs Clarke.
"We'll help her through it. I know her really well. How about we plan a day to go to some of her favorite places, just us three," Bellamy suggests.
"Yeah, that's sounds great," Clarke says. Just then, the door opens. The sound of footsteps running up the stairs overcomes the entire house.
"WHERE ARE THEY?" Jasper yells.
"We're in here," Clarke laughs. Jasper pushes open the door and runs over to Bellamy and Clarke, tackling them in a bear hug.
"I'm so happy for you guys," Jasper says, tearing up.
"We can tell," Bellamy smiles. Everyone else enters the room and joins the hug.
"I'm sorry, we really begged him not to," Monty laughs. Clarke smiles.
"It's alright. And besides, it's better for him to get out all his energy now," Clarke says, and everyone laughs. Everyone breaks free of the hug. Clarke and Bellamy hug everyone individually. Finally, they reach Alex.
"Hey, Alex," Clarke smiles. "We're glad you're back."
"Trust me, me too," Alex laughs. Clarke and Alex hug, then Bellamy brings Alex into a hug.
"You okay?" Bellamy leans down and whispers in her ear.
"I'm fine," Alex lies. After everyone exits the room, Bellamy takes Alex to talk in private.
"I know you're not okay," Bellamy says.
"No, Bellamy I-"
"Nope, listen to me," Bellamy says grabbing her hand.
"Clarke and I want to take you out somewhere, to take your mind off of all this," Bellamy smiles.
"That's okay, Bellamy, you don't have to," Alex says.
"I want to," Bellamy says. "We can go to the Mall, that bakery you love, we can binge watch the office, whatever you want to do."
"Bellamy-"
"We can go to McDonalds," Bellamy smirks.
"I'm in," Alex says. They both laugh.
"We'll go later today." Bellamy smiles.
"I'm sorry you had to go through that, Alex." Bellamy says.
"Me too," Alex sniffles. "But it was the right thing to do."
"How so?"
"They are my best friends, and they're in love. There is no way I'm going to stand in the way of that. They'll never forgive me." Alex smiles.
"You know you don't have to keep smiling, right?" Bellamy says.
"Yes, I do. I don't want anyone's pity. That's why I'm only letting you take me somewhere to make me happy this one time," Alex laughs. Bellamy smiles and brings Alex into a hug.
"Thank you," Bellamy says.
"For what?"
"If you didn't tell Clarke about me having feelings for her, we wouldn't have happened."
"Anything for my family," Alex smiles, breaking the hug.
"You're so selfless, Alex."
"My parents taught me to be." She smiles.
"I love you, Bellamy." Alex sniffles.
"I love you too, lex."
hey guys sorry to interrupt your reading lol, but I just wanted to tell you that they are saying I love you to each other in a FRIEND way. Keep in mind, Bellamy and Alex have been friends since elementary school, so they are almost as close as Murphy and Alex are. And 'lex' is just short for Alex. Okay, back to the story:)
