Reese

one week later
Alex has yet to wake up ever since her accident. Everyone is still in shock, but mostly Murphy, Raven and Bellamy. Raven and Murphy think it's their fault because of their dating, and Bellamy thinks it's his fault because he left her alone.
"You guys ready to go?" Murphy sniffles. He is a mess. His hair is going in all different directions, and his eyes are as red as lava.
"I have a good feeling about today, guys," Raven says.
"You've said that every time, ray," Clarke says.
"So what? I'm hopeful at least," Raven rubs her eyes. The group heads out to the car and starts to drive. The group makes it to the room, and sees Alex, who has tubes coming out from what seems like every limb of her body.
"She looks better," Jasper says.
"Yah, I guess so," Harper replies, placing flowers next to Alex.
"I'm going to take these old flowers out so when she wakes up she can see the new ones," Monty says.
"Good idea, Monty," Jasper replies.
A couple hours pass, and the group are sharing memories that they have with Alex. Suddenly, Alex starts stirring, silently, and only Murphy notices.
"Guys," Murphy says, hopeful.
"One second, Murphy. Bellamy is almost done with-"
"GUYS." Murphy raises his voice, and then all eyes are on him and Alex. Alex's eyes slowly open. Gasps and oh my gods fill the room. Everyone rushes over to the side of the bed.
"Alex!" Raven cries. Tears of joy fill the entire room.
"Where is she?" Alex tries to sit up.
"Woah, woah. Alex, slow down. Where is who?" Bellamy asks.
"Reese, the little girl." Alex says grasping her head.
"Who is Reese?" Raven asks.
"Bellamy, get a nurse." Monty says.
"When I was walking back home, this little girl ran up to me, told me her name, and then said she was lost," Alex pauses. "Then when she spotted her mom across the street, she ran into the road. The car was so close to hitting her," Alex tears up.
"What happened to you, Alex?" Murphy says.
"I pushed her out of the way." Alex says.
Everyone tenses, and starts to tear up. Alex was so selfless, that she sacrificed her own life for a person she has never met before. Alex tries to get up, and find the girl, but everyone stops her.
"We'll find her, Alex. You stay here." Clarke says. The nurse enters the room, and everyone exits to look for Reese, except Murphy and Raven. The nurse checks her blood pressure, and vitals.
"The doctor will be here soon, guys. Thank you for being so patient," Nurse Niyla says.
"Thank you, for keeping her alive," Raven smiles. The nurse nods and smiles, then walks out. There is a comfortable silence between the trio.
"This is our fault. Isn't it?" Raven asks.
"What? Raven, no! I didn't want to get hit by a car. What were you thinking I did?" Alex says.
Raven and Murphy look at each other and then down at their feet.
"You thought I did it on purpose, didn't you?" Alex realizes.
"Guys, you have to stop blaming yourselves for everything that happens to me. All of this was my choice. I made a snap decision to save that girl. I didn't do it to kill myself," Alex explains.
Guilt compels Murphy and Raven.
"We thought we lost you, Alex. We didn't know what to do, and we just blamed ourselves. We're sorry." Murphy says.
"Why the hell are you guys sorry? I should apologize. What if I died? You guys would have lived your whole lives thinking it was your fault." Alex says.
"You're not mad?" Raven says.
"No. Not anymore. I realized how precious our lives are. Being mad at someone for something so silly, isn't worth it." Alex smiles. They all joyfully cry and laugh and hug, as the rest of the group walks in. Behind the group, all hidden, is Reese.
"We found her, Alex," Bellamy says, smiling.
"We talked to the doctor about her. Apparently her mother was abusive, and they've been wanting to put Reese into foster care, but they want you to have her," Clarke smiles.
"Wait what?!" Alex says, full of mixed emotions.
"They said, that you could adopt her if you want, but if not, she can go into foster care," Monty says.
"Oh my god." Alex smiles. Reese pokes her head through everyone, and makes her way to Alex. She is about thirteen years old and has long brown wavy hair, and brown eyes.
"Thank you, for saving my life." Reese smiles.
"You're welcome. And thank you." Alex says.
"For what?"
"You taught me some valuable things, things I will never be able to repay you for," Alex smiles.
"Well, I think you risking your life for me is repaying enough," Reese laughs. The room fills with laughter and more tears.
"What are you going to do, Alex?" Harper asks.
Alex pauses and looks into Reese's eyes.
"I think I'm gonna keep her," Alex smiles.
"Really?" Reese asks.
"Really. And you'll be in good hands. All of these wonderful people will be your aunts and uncles," Alex tears up.
"I can't wait." Reese smiles, hugging Alex.
"Me too, sweetie. Me too."

A couple months later

Alex has made a full recovery, and Reese is officially adopted. The group are all outside sitting by the ocean, eating dinner.
"Reese, are you done?" Alex says pointing to Reese's plate.
"Yes mom- I mean, Alex," Reese stutters. Alex smiles and kneels down to where Reese is sitting. Everyone is looking at her.
"You can call me mom. You are in-fact my daughter," Alex laughs.
"Okay, mom," Reese smiles.
"IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL." Jasper cries.
"Hurry, lets go inside before he makes a fanpage for us," Reese laughs.
"She really is your daughter," Raven laughs.
"Yeah. She is." Alex smiles, and runs to catch up with Reese.

The next day
Clarke comes crashing into Alex's room, freaking out.
"Alex, ALEX!" Clarke says throwing pillows on her.
"What, WHAT! Why do you do this??" Alex yells.
"Shhh, you'll wake up everybody." Clarke whispers. Alex rolls her eyes.
"You're kidding me-"
"Alex, please. This is a good reason." Clarke begs.
"Okay," Alex sits up. "What's up?"
"I missed my period, Alex." Clarke says, sitting down.
"Oh," Alex pauses. "OH."
"Yeah! It's bad!" Clarke tears up. Alex grabs her phone and calls Raven into the room.
"Hello?" Raven answers with a crackly voice.
"RAV, GET IN MY ROOM. NOW. GET O! I'M PRETTY SURE HARPER IS AT THE STORE SO. JUST GET IN HERE!"
"What's up guys?" Raven says, as her and Octavia sit next to Alex and Clarke on the bed.
"Clarke is pregnant!" Alex says.
"What?" Raven says.
"WHAT!" Octavia smiles.
"NO, we don't know yet. I missed my period, but that happens all the time!" Clarke responds.
"Okay, you need to take a test." Raven says.
"And, Harper is at the store, so she can get one for you!" Octavia smiles widely.
"You're not scared that your brother might be a father?" Clarke asks.
"Of course not! Bell was born to be a father, I mean look at the great job he did raising me." Octavia laughs.
"I'm going to call Harp," Alex says. Alex picks up her phone and dials the number.
"Harp?"
"Alex? What's up?"
"Please tell me you didn't leave the store yet."
"No, I'm still here, what do you need?" Harper asks.
"A pregnancy test."
"For who?" Harper jumps with excitement.
"Clarke!"
"Oh my god!!"
"I KNOW I-" Alex looks at Clarke, who looks displeased.
"Okay, Sorry. Can you get the test, Harp?"
"Yah, I will be back in two."
Alex smiles and hangs up.
A couple minutes later
Harper runs up the stairs and into the bathroom where all the girls are gathered.
"You guys really wanna watch me pee on a stick?" Clarke laughs.
"It's science," Raven laughs.
Clarke does her thing, and then places the test on the table.
"Two minutes," Clarke says nervously. The group all face away from the test and grabs hands. The minutes pass by for what seem like hours. When the two minutes are up, Clarke turns around.
"I'm scared, guys." Clarke tears up.
"If anyone can do it, you can do it," Raven smiles. Clarke grabs the test and her face grows with both fear and excitement.
"What is it?" They all say at once.
"Positive." Clarke says. "I'm having a baby."
