one year later
Clarke inhales and exhales nervously as she hears the music start playing.
"I think it's your turn to go," Clarke smiles at the four bridesmaids. They all shriek and Raven reaches for Madi.
"I'm so happy for you, Clarke," Raven says.
"Me too," Clarke laughs.
The brides maids all hold hands and walk down the aisle with Madi in the middle slowly walking. Clarke watches as her best friends and her daughter make their way to the front. As the bride music starts to play, everyone shuffles around to stand to see the beautiful bride. Clarke takes a deep breath.
"Ready?" Murphy says as he hooks his arm in Clarkes.
"Ready as I'll ever be," Clarke nervously laughs.
The pair begins to walk down the aisle.
"Hey, Murphy?"
"Yah?"
"I wanted to thank you again for doing this for me, it really means a lot," Clarke smiles.
"I wouldn't miss it. Besides, you're like the sister I never had."
Clarke smiles and looks up. Bellamy is staring right at her. They make eye contact and smile.
When they make it to the front, Murphy kisses Clarke's cheek and moves over to Bellamy.
"If you hurt her-" Murphy gets cut off.
"Never," Bellamy says. Murphy smiles and makes his way over to where the best man stands. Bellamy grabs Clarke's hand and brings her up the stairs to where they are standing.
Monty, their minister, begins his speech.
"Friends and Family, we are gathered here today in the presence of these witnesses, to join Bellamy Blake and Clarke Griffin in matrimony, which is commended to be honorable among all men; and therefore is not by any to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly, but reverently, discreetly, advisedly and solemnly. Into this holy estate these two persons present now come to be joined," Monty pauses. "If any person can show just cause why they may not be joined together, let them speak now or forever hold their peace."
Clarke and Bellamy scan the crowd. A girl about Clarke's age stands up.
"Lexa?" Clarke asks.
"I object!"
The crowd fills with gasps and wide eyed people.
"Lexa, what are you doing?" Clarke asks sternly.
"I've been in love with you for as long as I can remember."
"Lexa we barely know each other!"
"I know."
Clarke looks at Bellamy who is sweating and clenching his jaw.
"Okay, Lexa I'm sorry, but nothing can ever keep me apart from him. Even your objection," Clarke states.
"But-" Lexa is cut off.
"Oh fuck off, Lexa!" Alex shouts. The whole room turns quiet as they turn to look at Alex.
"Oof, did I say that out loud?" Alex chuckles.
"Anyway," Monty continues. "These two could not be more different, but they somehow manage around that. Their being together will make all of our lives better. Now for the rings."
Jasper steps forward with a pillow that had two rings on it. A couple of months ago, Jasper begged to be the "Ring Bear" in his words.
Bellamy takes Clarke's hand.
"I, Bellamy, give you, Clarke, this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you."
Clarke smiles and repeats.
"I, Clarke, give you, Bellamy, this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you."
"Do either of you want to say something?" Monty asks.
"Yes," Bellamy and Clarke say at the same time.
"You can go," Bellamy smiles.
"Bellamy, I always wondered if I would ever find the person that was right for me. I always knew that there was someone, but I didn't know where. I found you in the most unexpected place, at the most unexpected time, and I couldn't be more grateful for that. I love you so much more everyday. You are my soulmate, the one I've been looking for for so long. You comfort me when things seem to go so wrong. I love you so much," Clarke tears up.
"Clarke, before I met you, I never knew what it was like to look at someone and smile for no reason. I was a complete grump before I met you. Everyone kept telling me to go out and find someone, and I told them that I was to lazy, or that I wouldn't find anyone good. But I was wrong. On the tv shows and movies you always see so many sappy love stories where people fall in love at first sight. I always thought that wasn't possible but I was wrong with that too. The moment I saw you, I knew, I knew that you were going to be my wife. Clarke, you get me through the day. You're everything to me. I love you so much, princess."
Clarke is in full on tears and so is Bellamy. The crowd was already crying when Clarke walked down the aisle.
"Oh my god my ship is sailinggggggggg!!" Jasper squeals. Everyone giggles in the crowd.
"By the power vested in me by the state of South Carolina, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."
Bellamy slowly leans down and kisses his princess and the crowd goes wild. Everyone is in tears. At dinner
Everyone is engaged in conversation when Alex clinks her drink.
"Hello everyone, I just wanted to say a few things about the bride and the groom. I've known Bellamy for a very long time and this past couple of years have been the best of his life. I have seriously never seen him happier. Clarke really has a hold on him. I really want to say thank you to both of them, because the past few years I have been going through a lot, and they really pushed me through. To see two of my best friends grow together and be so happy is really the greatest gift a girl could ask for. I love you both so so much," Alex smiles. "To the bride and groom!"
Everyone repeats to the bride and groom, and continues their dinner. A couple minutes pass and Bellamy and Clarke both stand up.
"We want to thank everyone for coming. It is a big day for us, but also a big day for someone else," Clarke says. Everyone in the crowd looks around, confused.
"Raven, Murphy has a question for you." Bellamy smiles.
Raven turns to Murphy who is on one knee holding a ring in his hand.
"Will you marry me?" Murphy asks. The crowd smiles and gasps. Raven doesn't even hesitate.
"Yes! Yes!" Raven leaps into Murphy's arms.
"I love you," They both say at the same time.Hey guys! If you want to know how the story ends please check out the epilogue! I will also thank you guys and say my goodbyes there!!:))
