Her husband had done some very stupid things in his life but taking the Kingsman necklace was beyond stupid. Now he had put the Kingsman family in trouble and the Order was demanding an explanation.

If that necklace fell into the wrong hands, everyone would know about the Mansion's damned secret. Everyone was in danger because of her.

She should have never told her husband about her love for the necklace because now it was lost and the Kingsman still had no idea about it. But they would soon, Sera would wed in five months, it was custom for every Kingsman woman or soon-to-be,  to marry with that necklace adorning her neck.

Soon that vault would be opened and they would discover that the necklace was missing. Marianne MacLean couldn't bare to part with her job. She loved her job and even the family.

What were they to do?

She hoped her husband had managed to calm the Order down whilst both of them searched for the necklace.

"So you say that the necklace is somehow linked to the Kingsman mansion?" Zara asked, as they went over the mansion's records.

"That's what that bastard says. How did you manage to get the files anyway?" Lara asked curiously.

"Toby isn't exactly the brightest tool in the shed." Zara laughed.

"I beg to differ, these Kingsman fellows are known to be quite the witty assholes. I think he just gave them to you, he trusts you." Lara smiled. "I'm glad he does, otherwise we wouldn't have any of this information." Zara said, leafing through the records.

"But it isn't exactly helpful. It talks about guests, functions, clients and purchases." Lara groaned in frustration.

"Look we'll get him back. I promise." Zara said, placing a hand on her sister's fisted hand.

"I hope so. Let's get back to reading." Lara said, smiling faintly.

When Valentine finally found the file he was ecstatic. He truly was. He had been searching for this file for months since that silly nurse had misplaced it.

Sinking down into his chair, he opened the file. This was it, he would finally get to know the truth. All the digging he had done would finally bring some of his unanswered questions to light.

Leila Starling.

My, what a beautiful soul she once  had. The father was a great friend of mine. He retired from the CIO years before his wife passed away. He was usually known as Quickblade, he was quick, slick and deadly. He did his jobs well and managed to sustain his family. His beautiful daughter was always a dear to be around, she was kind and just as caring as her mother had been. When she passed, my dear friend was never the same. He took that innocent sweetheart and turned her into a fighting machine. He made her a monster.

However, she found love so I'm told. I'm glad she's happy, she deserves all the love in the world. I also heard that she acquired a job as a reporter, she deserves to be happy. Seeing her happy helps me sleep at night.

Yours truly.

Marco D.

Valentine was shocked, he had no idea that all these events had transpired in Leila's life. He was always blinded by her beauty, eloquence and confidence. He was starting to wonder if he knew his girl friend at all. He took a swig of water and sighed in disbelief. Her father was CIO? Was she even an African? Who had he been kissing all these years? Who had he been making love to all these years? Who was she?
