"Zara. Wake up right this instant young lady!" Granny Hazel shouted from downstairs.

Zara was extremely tired, what with her encounter with Valentine yesterday. All she wanted to do was bury herself underneath the warmth and safety of her blankets.

Zara groaned as she trudged down the stairs.

"Dear, this is Claire Kingsman." Granny Hazel smiled.

Zara was still half asleep, so with a sheepish smile she said, "Hey, Claire."

Then she turned around and headed back upstairs until she realised who was in her kitchen.

"Oh my nuggets! Miss Kingsman I'm sorry I didn't see you." Claire groaned.

"Please call me Claire, we are friends after all." Claire chuckled.

Zara grinned.

"What brings you here?" Zara asked curiously.

"As you know, mom is having her 52th birthday. I thought you and I could go shopping." Claire suggested.

"I'd love to, but I'll be working so I don't think I need an outfit." Zara smiled.

"You still need a dress, you work before the event. We have workers for the whole serving thing." Claire said.

"I had no idea." Zara chuckled.

"Well now you do. I got us an appointment at Haddon & Sly." Claire smiled.

"Alright." Zara laughed as she ran upstairs to change.

"Dang girl, you have a nice body." Claire complimented when Zara walked out of the changing room in a sexy black two piece dress.

"I know." Zara laughed.

"Aren't you just humble." Claire said sarcastically.

The two ladies laughed.

"That's a nice pair of breasts, if only I wasn't so flat." Claire groaned.

"Anyway, I love that dress on you so we'll buy it." Claire quickly added.

Zara looked at the price and sighed. "I can't afford it."

"I'll buy it for you." Claire shrugged her shoulders.

"Nonsense, you don't have to do that. I'll just wear one of my other dresses." Zara said.

"I want to do this." Claire added.

"But I don't want you too," Zara snapped.

"When is your birthday Zara?" Claire asked.

"It's on the 3rd of September." Zara said.

Claire groaned. "Consider this as your very early birthday gift."

"I won't accept it." Zara laughed.

"Fine. You'll pay me back when you get the money." Claire said triumphantly.

"Fine." Zara grumbled.

"So you spilt tea on him?" Claire laughed heartily.

"He was being rude!" Zara laughed, as she took a sip of her milkshake.

After shopping, the two women had gone to Creamy Inn for some shakes.

"Yeah, my brother can be a dick at times but he means well." Claire sighed.

"I'll be the judge of that, I am the one who seems to be receiving his wrath." Zara said wearily.

"You and my brother should be careful. This attraction between you too has to be curbed. He has a girlfriend after all." Claire pointed out.
