Valentine was not surprised to find his family bickering. He was contemplating on whether to go back to work or brave a dinner with his annoying family. He knew that if he opted for the last choice, he would disappoint his little brother and he didn't want to do that. Besides, Toby would drag him from his work place anyway.

"It's lovely to see my family." He drawled sarcastically.

"Uncle Val!" The three terrors shouted in unison.

"Hey guys, how bad is the situation?" Uncle Val whispered in their ears.

"It's very awkward." Normi whispered back.

"Lovely." Valentine muttered.

The noise turned into silence and the whole table watched as Valentine walked to an empty chair.

"You're late." David narrowed his eyes at his son.

"I'm sure a nice dinner with my bickering family is more important than tending to ill people." Valentine said sarcastically.

"No sarcasm at the table, darling." Merylin reminded her son.

"Hello mother." Valentine sighed.

"It's good to see you son, I wonder why you haven't come to visit in a long time." Merylin said looking at her son with annoyance.

"I wonder why." Valentine coughed to hide his sarcasm.

Claire cast him a knowing grin, Valentine returned it with a wink. "Now that we're all here, I'd like to toast to Toby and Sera!" David smiled.

"May you give us lots of grand children!" Merylin added.

"Definitely." Toby winked.

Sera blushed then secretly and ever so lightly stepped on Toby's foot. Even though it was light, it delivered the pain Sera was hoping to inflict. She smirked as she watched her fiancee wheeze and scowl at her.

"When are you and Leila going to give us grand children, Valentine?" David said, turning his attention to a bored looking Valentine.

Valentine shrugged his shoulders and took a swig of apple juice. This was a conversation he wanted to avoid. He looked at his mother, who gave him a pitiful glance. He merely frowned and looked away. The damage was already done.

Mrs MacLean was over the moon when the Kingsman family complimented the meal with such gusto. The night's success was all thanks to Ben and Zara. She was more than ecstatic to introduce them to the family. She laughed at the fact that her husband had been right about chatty little Zara.

"The Kingsman family wants to meet you two." Mrs MacLean said to Zara and Benedict, later that evening.

"What, no eagles this time?" Zara teased, giving Benedict a high five. Mrs MacLean scowled at both of them.

"Very funny Zara." Mrs MacLean drawled. "Come along you two." She said, trying to fight off a smile.

"Ah, here are the food geniuses!" David clapped his hands when Zara and Bennedict entered the dining room.

"The food was exquisite Benedict and erm... sorry darling it appears as though I don't know your name." Merylin smiled politely at Zara.

"I'm Zara Kona." Zara grinned.

"A very capable, yet mouthy young woman." Mrs MacLean added.

"As long as she gets her job done." David winked at Zara.
