Chapter forty-nine

The sounds of little taps and minor chatting woke me out of sleep. The sun burned into the room where I was staying with Dean. My hair was a greasy mess. What was I going to do? I don’t even look like this in front of Randy. Quickly I tied my hair back; tie toeing out of bed to brush my teeth. I felt extremely uncomfortable with being with three strange men, even though Dean was trying his best to make me feel comfortable.

Tip-toeing back to my bed; I knocked my foot into the poll.

“Ouch!” I softly said. I cursed softly in Spanish hopefully no one will hear me.

“Emily?” said Roman. Oh shit, they know I’m up.

“Uh…Yeah?”

“Come have some breakfast.” His voice emotionless and stern.

I shyly walked out of the room, the three men were gathered up by a table. They looked different in ‘normal’ clothes. Roman smiled pleasantly,

“Come on, Emily” he chuckled. I hesitated.

“Don’t be shy.”

I nervously walked out of the bedroom, holding my head down.

“I…I was just going to see Randy.” I said.

Roman’s smile suddenly vanished, “You can’t.”

“Well, why not?”

“It is part of the plan” Dean turned his head slightly, glaring at me.

“What plan?”

No one answered me, “You will see in time.” Roman got up coming over by me. I tense up.

“I know this is all new to you, but we are nice guys and we like to see you and Randy together, just right now we have to wait for the right moment.” Roman sounded sincere; I still didn’t take his word seriously.

“He was here last night.” Seth said.

I looked over at him, “Randy was here last night.” He said chewing his bagel.

I raised my eyebrows, “He was!” My voice had a little hype. Realizing he didn’t fight hard enough for me, or didn’t even come after me; I became angry all over again.

“Yeah, he was just checking up on you. He really is sorry.” Seth said.

Now I felt guilty along with feeling angry. I looked over at Dean; he held his head down as he ate. He made Randy lose, Randy didn’t lose on purpose. Pushing pass Roman, I shoved Dean, making his head hit the table.

“Ow!” Dean hissed, staggering up from the chair. He turned around, giving me the most evil glare ever.

“You! This is your fault.” I growled.

“I had no choice princess, I had to do it.”

“For whom, his image or for you?”

Dean didn’t answer as he tried to cool his temper.

Roman placed his hands on my shoulders, “Emily, please trust us. We are not going to harm you.”

I looked up at Roman, “but…how come I just can’t see him, like he saw me? I’ll be right back I promise.” I begged like a little kid wanting to go to the toy aisle for a moment.

Roman sighed looking at Dean and Seth.

“Emily…”

His expression said it all. No. I tried to act grown up about it and pushed the anger and rage back into my stomach. I put my head down, taking my breakfast in my room. Wait! My phone! I scrambled under the couch cushion for it. I pulled it out, my heart raced and my hands began to shake. What should I say to him? First I text…
