The young boy breathes heavily after cycling on his tricycle so fast on his way to the church. He barged in as the people in the mass looked at him. Gerard on the other hand is leading a holy mass and he paused when the young boy opened the cathedral doors.
"Father Gerard!" He said as his voice echoed and the mass is disturbed.The bishops, the knights and the nuns are annoyed
"Can't you see? We're having a mass and the priest is having his gospel reading?! Where are your manners?!" One of the bishops stood up from their golden chair."And take off your headwear! You should pay respect as you are in the house of God!" An old nun said."Wait, with all due respect I have to talk to Father Gerard! This is important!" The young boy pleads."You can state your message later after the mass!" The knight said"No! This is urgent! It has something to do with his friend!" The young boy said but they didn't listened as the bishop commanded the knight to drag him out of the church."Your friend was kidnapped by the unknown men!" He managed to shout and showed Patrick's fedora.
The people in the church gasps including Gerard himself."Patrick..?" He whispers as Gerard steps down from the pulpit. "Let him go. Let me talk to him." Gerard said as the knights released the young boy."You can't leave the mass like this!" The bishop commanded"Sir, this is important. My friend was kidnapped after he talks to me about the 'devil's key. I feel it has something to do with his disappearance. So let me talk to this message man." Gerard defends and he brought the young boy to his office to talk to him privately.
"What happened?" Gerard asks when they reached in his office, sitting down on his office chair as the young boy is standing right in front of him."I saw him this morning, walking on the pavements while I was riding on my tricycle. He was holding a briefcase and we had this strange eye contact and then he smiles at me and after that a weird man on a red cloak, hiding his face behind a hood electrocutes him which made him faint and then he kidnapped him and they disappeared with a black mist." he explained.
Gerard can't believe that happened but of course, after those paranormal things that happened to him, it has to be related to the 'devil's key'. "Why Patrick...?" Gerard whispered to himself as he stood up and walks in circles, worrying about his friend. "What if he's right about his theory..?" Gerard worried."What theory..?" The young boy asks but of course, Gerard didn't respond because it's personal and confidential. As he looked at him, he remembered what the young boy had told him; his dream. "Young boy, do you still dream about the three unknown men?" Gerard asks.The young boy nodded "Every night... And it gets clearer and clearer but I still can't recognize their faces..." He replied.Gerard bites his own lip as he looked at the altar and mumbled his prayer softly."Young boy," Gerard called as the young boy looked up at him "accompany me to find my friend." He said as he is holding a bible
