Chapter 25: The Curse

Gerard breathes heavily as he sits down on the ground after the battle against Brendon and he looked at his blood stained hands and clothes.
"I guessed you already killed him~" a black omen appeared behind Gerard. "well you know the deal, right?" he chuckles.
"Wait!"Gerard stood up and faced the black omen "You told me you will bring him back, right? That was the deal."
"I already done that." the black omen said.
"Where is he?" Gerard asks
"Oh no no no. The deal is I just have to bring him back and you can't see him." The black omen chuckled. "Time to go now.."

"Wait!" Tyler ran as Gerard looked at him and right before Tyler's eyes, he saw Gerard's soul was separated. Tyler gasps in what he just saw.
"No!" Tyler tried to stop the omen to take Gerard's soul. Gerard's ice cold lifeless body falls on the ground while his soul is being captured, his soul was looking at Tyler who is weeping as his beanie falls "Gerard!"
"There's no way you can get his soul! It's already sold! So.." the omen said as he pushed Tyler away and he was surrounded by a black aura and Tyler gasps and he was left completely in shock.
Two dead bodies surrounds him and the black marks on his skin is slowly consuming him as his eyes are turning red while his anxiety eats him up and tears falling down on his face as the blurry faced man appeared with one of Brendon's loyal disciple. Tyler gasps in fear as he shakes.

"He lost." The blurry faced man said as Brendon's disciple held Brendon's ice cold hands 
"H- he's still alive but his heart beat is so slow..."
"He's dead but his soul is still inside of his body." the blurryfaced man said as he looked at Brendon's body in full disappointment and disgust. "Having the power of the devil's key is not free after all." The blurry faced man said. "Nothing is free after all."
"What are you going to do to him?!" she asks in fear while her face is covered by the hood over her head and her crimson red lips is only shown.
"You'll see" the blurryfaced man replied as he picks up Brendon's dead body by using his power and then they noticed that Tyler saw them. 
"Ah... I remember you. The boy who has a fragile faith. I thought you were dead." he said as Tyler steps back.
"You... You're the one who made me like this!" Tyler stood up as he shows his arms "You're the one who made Brendon evil! You killed Patrick! You're the reason why Gerard lost his faith!" Tyler blames him as the blurryfaced man silenced him.


"Your fear will be soon the death of you..." the blurryfaced man said as Tyler feels so heavy inside while he is being lifted by the dark powers of the blurryfaced man as the black aura engulfed them all including Brendon's body and they vanished.

"Wh- what happened...?" Brendon slowly wakes up in a dark room and he found himself lying down on a stretcher. "I- I can't move my body... What is happening?" he said without moving his lips. "Am I dead..?" 
"Your body is dead but your soul is not dead... yet." A familiar voice said and the light turned on and he found himself surrounded by his disciples then an echoing footstep was heard.
"Blurryface? Is that you? Well I don't know what the heck is your name but help me outta here! I can't move my body" Brendon said and then the blurryfaced man walks in and Brendon gasps.
"Wait, you're not him! You're that Gerard's pesky little rat friend!" Brendon exclaims and the blurryfaced man chuckles while he possesses Tyler's body. 
"I don't need your weak body and you cannot give me orders anymore since you don't have the key anymore." Blurry face said "and to answer your question why you cannot move your body, it's because your body is dead but your soul is not and I am here to ask for your payment..."
"Payment?! Hey I pay my fucking bills!" Brendon said.
"You imbecile!" Blurry face shouted at Brendon "the payment for the devil's key!" Blurry face said as his voice is infused with Tyler's voice "Nothing is free in this cruel world, you are now going to pay!" as the disciples aimed to cut Brendon's chest open 
"No!" Brendon used all his energy to control his body as he tried to push them away but the disciples held him down "You traitors!" as they put lethal injection on Brendon's veins which made him cannot control his body anymore as his soul escapes his body before his body completely destroys his soul as he escapes away from Blurryface.

"You cannot escape the curse of the devil's key! Accepting and using the key is accepting the curse of it!" Blurry face said as he let out a loud evil laugh with Tyler's voice. "Run as fast as you can! But you cannot escape the curse!" He screams using Tyler's voice.
