dedicated to my father.
I didn't know the endless truth,
Life was like a photo booth,
I was blind to see that for almost my whole life my father had ignored me,
every flash of the camera it makes my eyes water,
Because I don't remember the last time you kicked a ball with my brother or when you go to dinner with my mum without staring at other girls. You're a sick man but we loved it.
We saw good in everyone,
Even you.If only we could find you,
I wouldn't need to search endlessly for true love coming out of your mouth.
I yearn to see what you hide in the shadows and why you forget the sunny days,
I wanted a family but pity me because you didn't love me.
I wanted you to spend time with me,
protect me,
and love me unconditionally.
I wish I could tell you things but I was scared you were going to hurt me.I wanted to give you a chance
I wanted it,
but not you.
