The Mysterious Quest

Chapter 1: Jake Allens

I slowly wake up in a bed, darkness surrounding me, and there is some sunlight coming in through a window telling me that it is daytime, "Where am I ?" I whispered to myself, not expecting an answer. As I start to collect my thoughts I realize something, I am not at my house. I jump awake as my breathing and heartbeat hitch. It's at that moment that I realize I am at Camp Demigod.(A/N I know it is a dumb name) Hi, I am Jake Allens, Son of Zeus, child from one of the big three, I arrived here four days ago,  I then get dressed, shower, and brush my teeth. I walk outside and get blinded by the bright sunlight, unlike my dark cabin. I walk towards the side of my cabin, where I now keep my armour and my sword and shield. Once I picked those up I walk towards the training arena and unsheathe my sword, admiring how good the weight feels in my hand. I look up from my sword was made from celestial bronze, the only material that was able to kill monsters, like dracaena, empousa, laistrygonian giants, cyclopes, minotaur, and so on. I look at my target, a dummy, I imagine that it is some enemy monster I run towards it, I first make a slash at the shoulder joint, completely slicing off its arm, I then proceed to slash cut and parry an invisible sword, and cut at its chest. After a couple of minutes I finish off the dummy by decapitating it, by now I am sweating bullets and I am breathing hard and my shirt is drenched. I turn startled by a voice behind me, "I think that dummy is pretty dead by now". I whip around to see a familiar face smirking at me, I lower my guard at the sight, quite literally, "Oh, Hey Eliza, you startled me".
