The Mysterious Quest

Chapter 4: The Medical Tents

After the battle everybody went to bed, except for me I went to the medical tents, and I stayed up all night watching Kyan and making sure he is doing fine, okay I know it sounds creepy, but hey, when your best friend is probably dead, you want to stay with him, right? Anyways right when it was nearing 4:00 in the morning when I fell into a deep, deep sleep, and I started to dream, I was in a dark room with only one source of light, it was as if there was spotlight, and only the middle of the room had light, and I was strapped to a wooden chair in the middle, and everything in the dream was going relatively normal, until a heard a deep and cold voice say, "You have a purpose in this world don't waste it", "What do you mean by that?" I said to the voice "If you want to live, and if you want your friends to live than you must complete this quest", "What quest!?" I tried to yell, but I was too late his voice was fading away, as well as the room, "You will figure out soon enough, Jake, you will figure out soon". I woke up, sitting in the chair next to Kyan's bed, cold sweat was trailing down my face, but only two things were on my mind, and none of them concerned Kyan, those thoughts were who was speaking, and what was the quest. Later that day I went back to my cabin and sat down on my bed, thinking, how come I am the one that meets a strange voice in their dreams and gets told that I am to go on some sort of 'quest' it seems so unfair to me, I shake off all my thoughts get under my covers and take a nap, tired from staying awake all night the previous night.
