I woke up Saturday morning. It was my day off. I get up and go down to the kitchen. Kayla was busy running around getting her things together. I was also starting to loose some weight because of the chemo. But I need it to help me with the cancer.
"Morning." she says running around in the kitchen when I walked in. Edwin was sitting at the counter drinking coffee.
"Hey." I said bluntly. I was still a bit sleepy and I wasn't feeling too well. I sit down at the counter next to Edwin.
"We have plans tonight." she says.
"What plans?" I frown at her.
"We're getting you drunk tonight. Cora is coming over too."
"Oh.... Really? Does it have to be tonight?"
"Do you want to complete your bucket list or not?"
"I know I know. I'm just not feeling up for it tonight."
"Well get in the mood then. You are getting drunk tonight."
"Fine." I roll my eyes at her and sigh.
"See you tonight."
I just waved at her and get myself some water. Kayla leaves the apartment and I sighed drinking my water.
"Are you still up for today?"
"I'm sorry did we have plans today?"
"You said we're going to surf today. If you want to do it another time then we can wait."
"Oh yes. I'm sorry I don't know what is going on with me today."
"You are a bit pale. We can do this another time."
"No. No. We're doing this today. Give me an hour."
He nods and he gets up and goes to his room. I downed my water and take my medicine. I go upstairs and go to my room. I get out my swim suit and get ready for our surf session. I put my hair in a ponytail and take a towel and went downstairs.

I see Edwin was outside already and I join him. I stare at him a while. Looking at his body and gorgeous self. He looks at me and he smiles, which made me smile too and blush at the same time. He gets the surf boards ready and he holds out his hand at me. He pulls me closer to him and he shows me how to stand on the board. I get on the board and stand on it. Edwin comes up behind me and he helps me to get in the right position. He touches me in my thighs and I gasp softly when he does and it send shivers down my spine. Making me lose my balance a bit. He holds me up with his hands on my hips.
"Are you okay?" he asks me in my ear. I clear my throat and snap back to reality. I smiled at him with a fake smile.
"Yeah." I nod and he nods too. He helps me again and his touches just gives me a million chills every time he touched me.
"Okay. Lets take this to the water." he says. I nod and we take the boards and go into the water. We get on the boards and go deeper into the ocean to get bigger waves. We waited a while and get the next wave. I fell off a few times. We waited again for another wave and when it came Edwin shows me to paddle. I did and then get up to surf on the wave. This time I get it right after many times of trying. I put my hands in the air when I got it right. I stayed on a while. Cheering at myself. I fell off when I lost my balance again and Edwin comes to me. I laughed when he reached me.
"I did it." I said and he chuckles.
"You want to go again?" he asks.
"No I think that's enough for today."
He nods and we go out of the ocean. He takes the surf boards and take them back to where they belong. I wrap the towel around me and went inside to the living room. Edwin comes back and he smiles at me.
"That was really good for your first time."
"Yeah. Thank you. Now I can tick it off my list." I said smiling. He nods and smiles. He goes to the kitchen and I followed him. I take the towel off and put it on the one chair in the kitchen.
"You want something to drink?"
"Just a glass of water please." he nods and gets a glass of water for me and one for him too. I sit down and he joins me. He hands me the glass of water and I take a sip. I caught him staring at me.
"Edwin. Why are you doing this if you don't even know me?"
"I do it because I care. And I want to help."
"You barely know me. Why would you want to help me?"
He stares at me for a while. He gets up and he stands in front of me. I look up at him and he stares at me. He lifts his hand and he touches my cheek softly.
"For once I can do something good for someone that I care about."
I stare at him in his eyes and he stares into mine. He had this serious expression on his face when he said it.
"You barely know me." I said staring him in his eyes.
"I'm getting to know you just by watching you. You're a free spirited person." I was shocked when he said that. I was that person. Now even more than before. He leans in forward while we both stare each other in the eyes.
The front door opens and Kayla yells out for me and Cora too. Edwin and I break away from each other and I answered them.
