Yume didn't come to school the following day.

Well, I expected much. After what she told me, I knew she didn't want to see me after saying those words yesterday. She didn't want me involved in some weird stuff that I probably won't understand. Koizumi-san didn't come either.

For some reason, I was relieved. To think that Koizumi-san was madly in love with me. I mean, I did noticed that but I didn't think she was that in love with me.

I stared at my notebook with no clear motive as the teacher explained Pascal's triangle. I didn't know what I should do at this point. I felt bad for what I said to Izanami-san after Yume told me that she and Izanami-san didn't expect me to apologize. I sighed. I wonder what today will be like.

Mizushina Yume

Few hours earlier.

"Yume, wake up!"

The door slammed open as I heard Izanami's raised voice. I woke up in a startle, my hair a mess and my mind barely collected together. As I yawned, I went to check the clock as I sat up. It was still 4 am. Why would Izanami wake me up at a time like this? She has never done this before. She walked towards me after she grabbed my black cardigan from my closet. She lent the cardigan to me and held my shoulder.

"Izanami, what's going on?" I asked her with a sleepy tone. 

"You have to go," she responded in an alarming tone.

"Why?" What happened?"

"It's Yukina," she began, "she's in danger. Yoruka's out and now she's after Yukina."

I didn't need her to tell me twice. When I heard Yukina-san's name, I immediately got up from my bed, grabbed my phone, put on my cardigan and rushed to the entrance door. Izanami followed behind and as I put on my shoes. She must've got the news from the Oracle. The Oracle is one of her magical items which takes form of a golden plate filled with water which shows a tragedy coming when a certain ingredient is mixed inside or a chant was said.

"Wait, Yume," she said, "you need a plan."

"If you have one, then explain it in thirty seconds." I told her as I held the front door.

"Call Ji-hoon," she instructed, "he'll get there faster. I called Inudzuka and he's on his way. When you get there, make sure to get Yukina out of the way before handling Yoruka. It's too risky if you handle them both at once."

I nodded. She handed me a hand sized bag. I looked inside to see small, grey darts.

"These darts have enchantments," Izanami explained, "I only have a few of these so use them wisely."

I nodded. I shoved the small bag into my cardigan pocket. As I turned my back towards her, Izanami gave me one last note.

"Be careful," she told me, in which I responded with a nod.
