Elis POV (Earlier that day)

I stretch out my limbs before I even open my eyes and immediately feel something amiss.

Frankie's gone.

I sit bolt upright and look around the room but she is no where to be seen. I can't hear her in the apartment so I get up and start my search.

She isn't in her room so next I head to the kitchen. Instead of a gorgeous raven haired beauty I am met with a piece of paper on the kitchen bench top.

Frankie's handwriting is scrawled across the paper saying that she will be back in time for breakfast. She even signed it with a heart.

My mind wanders to what she needed to do so early on a Sunday morning but then an idea crosses my mind. Maybe she had to go talk to Colt. He is her boyfriend and by the way last night went, he is now her ex-boyfriend.

I don't waste another second thinking about it and instead focus on what her note said. Breakfast.

She said she would be back in time for breakfast. So I better get a move on and cook something amazing.

I start rummaging through the fridge and decide on bacon and eggs. Just as I start getting the right frying pans out a knock on the door sounds. Well, not so much of a knock than a smashing sound.

I race over thinking it could be urgent only to find Mandy dressed in the shortest of shorts and a midriff shirt. She is holding her heels in her hand and by the state of her hair and makeup, she has had one hell of a night.

When her eyes find me she smiles and stumbles towards me with outstretched arms. I manage to escape her grasp and step out of reach but she steps forward with me and into the appartment.

"Eli, baby. I thought you were coming out partying with me tonight?" She speaks fast but her words slur together making it hard to fully understand her.

"You mean last night and no, I had an engagement party to go to." I respond coldly.

"Boo. What a bore. You should have come with me instead." Mandy steps closer again with what is supposed to be a sultry smile on her lips. She is trying to seem enticing but is not coming off that way.

"It was my best friend's engagement party. I had to be there." I say bored of this conversation and try to steer mandy to the door but she is clearly drunk and possibly high on some kind of drug.

"If it was so important then why didn't you take me?" She says with an angry tone, all humour leaving her voice.

"I think you need to head home and sleep off last night." I say before heading to the door to open it but she blocks my path and stands with her back against the door. I decide to step back again and give her space. I don't really want her arms all over me.

"Why wasn't I invited huh? I thought we were having fun together."

"We were Mandy but it was more of a family event. Besides I had no room in the car. I drove Frankie there."

As soon as Frankie's name leaves my lips I regret saying it. Mandy's eyes burn red at the mention of Frankie and I have no one to blame for angering her than myself.

"Who the fuck is Frankie?" Mandy screams and throws her shoes onto the ground. "Where is this bitch?"

"Frankie is Marco's cousin. She works for me at the bar. Now I think you need to calm down and go home."

Mandy's anger is unaffected by my words as she continues to blaze with fury.

"Are you fucking that bitch behind my back?" She screams.
