I felt so lazy to get up and say my prayers cause i was so tired.the bridal shower turned out to be a huge success everything was perfect just like she wanted it. Salma was dressed in a pure white gown with a small white hijab.we the bridesmaids were dressed in mint green and dark green gowns with brown hijabs,becky our closest friend who has always been with us from day one,though she was not a Muslim we still had this strong bond like we were related,she wore only her gown without an hijab.

We had lots of fun, we played truth or dare,salma was asked when she met her man,i had to give a very emotional speech about my bestie,took lots of pictures, ate a lot of small chops like samosa,spring roll doughnuts,flat bread and chicken curry and some tea.most of us there were busy snap chatting the whole event.After I came back home I jumped straight into the bed without changing into my pyjamas and I'm pretty sure I snored and drolled while I slept. I laziyly dragged myself out of the bed,I did my usual routine prayed,brushed my teeth,took my bath,ate.I dressed up and took my keys and drove to my tailors place I was going to take our anko for sewing.

I was in the kitchen doing the dishes after making dinner when halima came in to tell me I had a visitor.
"ya faiza somebody is looking for you outside"she said as she came in
"who? I asked her dropping the sponge in the sink
"one man he said his name is sufyan" my eyes widened when she told me who I was quite surprised he was here at this time.
"okay am coming will you help me finish washing"i wiggled my eyebrows at her
"you'll buy me cold stone promise?
"you and bribe Ehn, okay promise"I wiped my hands with a napkin on the sink and left
I went to my room and wore my hijab I didn't bother putting any kohl cause it was late already.I straightened my hijab properly in front of the mirror and shut the door behind me.I walked out of the house and saw him leaning against the wall dressed in a casual shirt and sweat pants with a black walking stick in his left hand.
"hey"he said letting out a light chuckle
"how are you doing"i asked
"Alhamdullilah"he oggled himself as he spoke like obviously am doing fine
We stood there for almost five minutes until he finally spoke breaking the silence.
"uhm faiza*he took a deep breath*in my life I've never thought that I could fall head over heels for someone until I met you,meeting you was like a blessing to me and you're the reason I always look forward to waking up,just so I could hear your voice. i know that I just don't want you in my life faiza but I need you in my life.I love you and i want you to be mine forever.
I was speechless,short of words,dumbfounded all of it my heart kept on racing like a hundred times per seconds,I had butterflies in my stomach.I wanted to say the I love you back but i was too shy to say it.I never knew there would be someone that will love me so much.
"I'm sorry if i rushed everything but i thought this was the perfect time to tell you how i feel before its too late"he said
" Oh no its fine,the feeling is mutual"i blushed as I completed my statement
"let's stroll now if you don't mind"he said
We started walking down slowly and I noticed he was going through Mr ojo's house.my heart immediately started racing because that man always keeps his vicious dogs loose outside once it's 9o'clock.before I could tell sufyan to come back we were already face to face with the dogs.my legs started feeling all jelly,the two dogs were staring at us right in the eye with saliva drooling out of their mouth.I had no idea when I started suplicating in my mind.
"Umm faiza why didn't you mention there were dogs here"sufyan said taking few steps back
"well I kinda forgot"i swallowed hard
"okay don't be scared or else it will attack"
" well I am very scared"i whispered
The dogs were coming towards us slowly and angrily.we made sure that we were a little far from the dogs,then we ran for our lives.we ran so hard until the dogs were out of site,then we paused to catch our breath.I leaned on the car and started breathing loudly,out of nowhere sufyan started laughing crazily and I joined him we laughed so hard our stomach started to hurt.
"I haven't had so much fun like this in a while"he said clutching his stomach
"well I never thought being chased by two viscous dogs would be this fun"I replied
"Wow it's past ten already we should get going"he dipped his hands in his pocket to grab his keys,we said our goodbyes and left.I sneaked into the house like a thief to avoid being caught by baba,I was tip toeing slowly to my room when the lights turned on I saw baba sitting on the chair staring at me.I whispered "oh o" under my breath i normally see this kinda scenario in movies and now its me facing in reality.
"where are you coming from"he asked staring me right in the eye
"errm erm i went to erm buy erm recharge card"i stuttered
" are you lying to me?
"no baba"i looked down
"i saw you outside with a guy,when i was coming back from mosque"he smirked
" oh um ai that was my coursemate"
"if he is the one and he's ready let him send his elders over,i don't like seeing my daughter standing outside with a man late at night" he told me and went to bed.i just stood there with my mouth opened because i never expected it from baba i thought i was going to get an earful from him.i switched of the light in the living room and left.i crawled in bed happily knowing insha Allah tomorrow would be a good day.
