Chapter Two: The Olcadans and the Mysterious Stranger

After getting out the shower, Ari grabs her toothbrush and started brushing her teeth. After that, she put on her gray V-neck tee, dark blue jeggings, and black mid top sneakers. Now fully dressed, Ari went back to the bathroom and remove two of her hair ties and started undoing her two long braids. With her braids undone, Ari runs through her silky, long and wavy dark brown hair as it runs above her waist. As she looks herself in the mirror, her eyes change to light blue and it made her gasp. Then, it changes back to brown. Surprised, Ari looked at her hands. Feeling like she's changing, Ari slightly shudder.

and place it on the table. Then, she grabs her black purse while putting on her olive faux fur cargo jacket. As she closes the door, Ari felt a little lightheaded. As she felt like she's about to faint, She watches the sun coming up―Then, her strength returns as she started walking.

After making her way to the Northwood Cafè, Ari made her way to the counter where the male cashier is working.

"Can I get a vanilla cappuccino and a blueberry bagel to go please?", she asked.

The cashier smile as he takes Ari's order.

"Your total is going to be $4.20", he said. Ari unzipped her purse, grab a $5 dollar bill and hand it to the cashier. After putting the dollar bill inside the drawer, the cashier handed Ari ¢50.

As she watches the cashier grab a blueberry bagel from the display counter, Ari felt lightheaded again and this time, her heart started beating. Her head started hurting and she can feel herself getting weak.

"Miss? Miss?", said a distorted voice. Alerted, Ari turned around and saw the cashier, holding a cappuccino cup and a small take-out bag for her.

"Are you alright?", he asked concernedly.

Ari grabs her cappuccino cup and bag.

"Yeah, I'm just...a little tired", she said wearily. The cashier became even more concerned.

"Are you sure? I can give you a―", he said when Ari interrupted his words. "No, it's fine, really. Thanks for the meal", she said as she walks out of the coffee shop, leaving the cashier speechless.

After arriving at Matter Crest Antiques, Ari pushes the door and saw Jenna, and her two other best friends, Hailey Stark, and Sonia Harris at the counter. As her foot holds the door, Ari throws her cup and bag in the trash can as she enters the store.

"Hey, sorry I'm late", she said. The girls turn to Ari and saw her hanging her jacket up, but none of them didn't say a word as she walks over to the counter.

"Do you think it's just a coincidence?", asked Hailey.

"Yeah, she wouldn't disappear like that", said Sonia. Jenna swept her bangs.
