"Your one responsibility is to stay alive." Was the last thing I heard before the crashes started.

3rd Person POV

One minute they were fine. The next, it was total chaos. Finn and the other two boys who were floating around the cabin were suddenly thrown into the side of the dropship, crashing into tubes and pipes along the way. People started screaming, others grabbing their friends' hand to either apologize for not being better or just holding each other and saying their goodbyes, thinking this was it for them. Some were quiet, though. Silently telling themselves in their heads that they could have done better. Wishing they could have said one final goodbye to their families and just apologize for doing an awful thing.

And as for little Beatrice, well she was curled up in her hard seat, her thin, tan legs pulled up to her chest as she began to rock back and forth sobbing loudly. Her cries brought her no extra attention because everyone else was just doing the same.

"Monty! Jasper! " She screamed, nearly choking on her own tears, wishing for this to all be over. She didn't want to die, at least not like this. She wanted to see her true family again; to hug them just once would be a blessing. She continued to scream and shout for her big brothers to no avail. Either they weren't on the ship, or they were already dead. Beatrice didn't like any of the answers her brain came up with.

"Finn!" She called over everyone else's shouts. "Finn! Come back, please! Please!" She yelled, her voice becoming hoarse as she desperately tried to not find her newest friend dead already.

Beatrice's POV

I kept on screaming for Finn to come back but he wasn't moving. I could see him on the floor across the scary room. Why are they doing this to us? I haven't been bad, have I? I try to be good but sometimes I get stubborn. They didn't have to hurt anyone else because of me. "I'm sowwy. I'm sowwy Finny. I didn't mean it!" I said quietly to myself, hoping Finn wasn't what I thought he was.
He couldn't be! He just can't be.
