Chapter Twenty-Five

Ray's POV

I woke up that morning to my phone vibrating. I groaned, sitting up in my bed and getting it off the nightstand.

"Hey, what are we doing today?" it read with a smiley face.

"Shit." I read the message from Kiara and rubbed my temples. I forgot all about her, I swear. We weren't dating, but there was something there.. Was. I looked over at Abrial asleep and kinda smiled, then sighed again and went to get out the bed, but she whined.

"Baby.." she turned on her side and then looked at me and smiled. She was so beautiful. "Give me a kissss.." she was so whiny in the morning. It was something I missed. I laid back down and let her lay on my chest after she gave me a kiss. "Goodmorning."

"Morning beautiful." I played in her hair a little.

"Raiva up?"

"It's only around 7 in the morning.." I chuckled, "nah, she's not up."

"Oh.." she sat up in the bed, "is that rain?" she looked up at the ceiling at the noise.

"Guess it's a rainy day inside?" I questioned. She smiled and climbed onto my lap and kissed me, "you don't know how long I've been waiting to do this.." I ran my hands up and down her back, "why you so damn soft?" she giggled and kissed me. "Wait."

"What?" she pulled away and looked at me, "is something wrong?"

"I gotta tell you something."

"Is it gonna make me mad?" she questioned.

"It could."

"Dammit Rayan." she sat back a little and covered her chest in the cover, "what is it?"

"A couple months before you came.. there was this girl I was talking to.." All she did was stare at me. "We didn't have sex, I swear. But she did like me.. There was something, but this was before you came along.."

"You were dating someone?"

"We weren't dating.."

"So you were just fucking around? Real nice Ray. You couldn't have told me this yesterday? Before we had sex?"

"Abrial.. We didn't have sex, we weren't dating.. I just wanted to let you know that if some crazy bitch is beating on my door, that might be her.." She chuckled, "are you mad?"

"I guess I can't be if you guys weren't dating and you didn't have sex with her, now can I?" she smirked a little. "Anything else you wanna tell me?"

"I started smoking again while you were gone, but I stopped after a few months."

"Anything else?"

"I want you to move in with me."

"Really?" she was kinda shocked, "really? You're serious?"

"Yes. I want you and Raiva both to stay with me. I want us to be a family."

"We are a family." she stated, "I'll think about it. Okay?"

"Okay." I took a deep breath.

"Mommy...." I heard Raiva over the baby monitor.

Abrial looked at me, "can you get her while I shower and then when I get out vice versa?" she asked. I nodded my head, "thank you." she gave me a kiss then got out the bed, dropping the sheets on the bed and then walked to the bathroom that was attached to my bedroom.

I got out the bed and walked into Raiva's room and turned on the light, "hey baby."

"Ohhh.." she sleepily looked around the room. I picked her up as she rubbed her eyes a little and then kept looking at the room, "Princess room daddy."
