"Can I ask you something?" He asked shyly which is very unlike him
"Sure what's wrong buddy ?"I asked sitting on the bed and patting the spot next to me
"Why does your tummy look bigger ?"He asked causing me to freeze and sending chills down my spine
Angels POV
I stared down at him with a loss of words not knowing how to tell my son that I was pregnant .
"It reminds me of what your tummy looked like when Andrew was in your tummy "He said as he pressed his hand against my swollen stomach
"That's right sweetie it's exactly like that mommy has a baby brother or sister growing inside of her "I said honestly as I pulled him closer to me
"Does Dad know ?"He asked not missing a beat ,I took a deep breath before answering
"No daddy doesn't know "I answered and before he could say or ask anything else I tucked him in and kissed his forehead
After Alesso and Quinn were all tucked in I walked over to the couch and pulled out the bed before shedding my clothes and throwing on one of Damon's old T-shirt's ,breathing in sadly I crawled into bed and drifted of into a peaceful sleep .
Next morning
"Mommy"I heard my name being called before hands gently shook me
"Yes baby "I asked with my eyes still closed as Quinn whined for me
"I have to pee but Alessos showering "She whined ,I sighed getting out of bed a taking her hand
Before leaving I gently picked Andrew up who didn't wake up and cuddle into me ,we walked out of my room and towards the clubhouse bathroom .
"Quinn come here "I called not wanting my 4 year old to see the half naked girls and guys sprawled all over the place .
"Take Mommy's hand and close your eyes "I said gripping her hand as she did what I said
Shortly we made it to the bathroom and she quickly peed and washed her hands before taking Andrew and letting me do the same .
"Mommy why doesn't daddy know about the baby in your tummy ?"She asked referring to the conversation I had with Alesso
"That's very complicated Munchkin "I said as I finished cleaning my hands
"Okay give me your brother and cover your eyes "I said
We were halfway back to the room when suddenly the club door opened .
"Angel what you are and the kids doing here so early ?"Damon asked as he walked over to Quinn ,Andrew and I
"Didn't feel like going home after the party so crashed here,what are you doing here so early ?"He sighed as he picked Quinn up and hugged her
"I've been kicked out of my apartment "He grumbled as he placed Quinn down and gently took Andrew from me
"Trouble in paradise "I asked scoffing as Quinn tugged at my leg
"Can I tell daddy ?"She asked vaguely but I knew what she was talking about
"Not now sweetie "I said giving her the look
"Go back to the room ,but keep your eyes trained on the floor "I said sternly
She began walking away and I watched her closely to make sure she followed the directions I gave her ,once she was in the room I turned towards Damon who was rocking Andrew .
"He's so quiet "He said referring to Andrew who slept peacefully
"Always has been "I said not meaning for it to come out as rude as it did but not sorry that it did
"I know I haven't spent as much time as I should be spending with him ,but you don't exactly make spending time with our kids an easy task "He said in an argumentative way
"It's to early "I said holding my hand up
Damon grew silent ,confused I shifted my gaze from the ground to were his eyes where trained on my head-well what was on my hand...
My engagement and wedding band
"You still wear them "He asked as he gently took my left hand in his and delicately looked at my hand
"Last time I checked no divorce papers where signed "I said slipping up slightly
"What did Quinn want to tell me "He asked changing the subject and causing my stomach to churn uneasily
"You'll find out soon enough "I said vaguely
"Okay..."He said looking at me confused before handing Andrew back to me
"Where's Alesso ?"He asked once again changing the subject sensing I wouldn't cave and tell him anything
"In the shower , that's why Quinn had to us the bathroom out here "I said as I gently rocked side to side
"....."An awkward silence feel over us causing me to become really emotional and suddenly my eyes started to water
"Whoa Angel what's wrong "He asked alarmed as his arms gently wrapped around my waist pulling me to himself while being mindful of Andrew
"Tell me"He said softly as he gently brushed my cheeks
"It's nothing "I said looking down which caused my head to rest on his chest ,doing this made me even more upset reminding me of what we once had
"Angel seriously what's wrong "He asked as he pulled my chin up to see more tears pouring from my eyes
"The sooner you figure it out the sooner you'll understand "I said pulling away from him and hurriedly walking back to my room
(1 hour earlier )
Damon's POV
"ALL IM ASKING FOR IS FOR YOU TO ONCE CARE ABOUT SOMETHING OTHER THEN YOURSELF !!!!"Mandy yelled as she furiously cleaned and banged the dishes
"Man-"I started but she got me of continuing with her now 30 minute lecture
"Mandy "I said more louder and firmer
"What do you want me to do ?"I asked tiredly trying to make an easy fix but knowing this time an easy fix won't be enough
"I want you to tell me what you want !"She shouted at me
"I don't need to say it because we both know already and we both have known the reality of our situation for more then a while now "I said what we already knew
"Why"She cried collapsing on the floor and shaking uncontrollably
"Because your not Angel ,your not the mother of my children,your not my home your a distraction just like I'm yours.You say you love me but we both know your forcing something on both of us because you don't want everybody to be right when they said it should've avoided me "I said nonchalantly
"Then why did we become this "She asked still crying
"I lost my wife and my children ,you lost your fiancé and your free ride to an easy life of luxuries "I said
"We were doomed as soon as we met"I explained to her as I realized this all myself
"You stay here and I'll stay at the club ,maybe try and talk to your ex "I suggested as I packed all my stuff in my duffle bag and then left without saying goodbye
