Mackenzie's POV
Everything went back to the way it was. Jordyn was being somewhat nice, but I think the only reason she was ever kind was out of fear.
"Great job today Mack!" Miss Hannah said. "You're getting better!"
"Thank you," I smiled and went to find Maddie.
Paige, Chloe, and Sofia were all huddled over the Whitman Academy News.
"What?" I asked curiously.
"Look! It says;" Chloe began to read.
"Maddie Ziegler threatens to 'take on' Jordyn Jones and her friends in a dance battle. According to Asia Ray, she was, 'horribly rude about the topic and forced us into it.' Behavior like this will NOT be tolerated." Chloe finished with a sigh.
"What!? They said that!?" Maddie gasped, putting her water bottle in her dance bag.
"Yep. Just because you guys were nice, it was just the fear talking. We're still enemies. And the Dance Battle is so one." Kaylani smirked.
"What a..." I started. Maddie glanced at me with a hard look, "female dog."
