Chapter 6 'Killing' It

Brooke's POV
After the audition, we went back to our dorm.
"Well, what do you think the audition was for?" Sofia asked.
"I don't know, but in 30 minutes, we'll find out." I said.
I got on my laptop and researched Whitman. A lot of really good things came up, but when I saw; Dance History, I had to see what it was all about.
"Guys, check this out! It says that there was a death here once!" I said.
The girls gasped and ran over.
"Okay, so according to Whitman legend, many years ago, a girl named Carla went to go practice get turns in the Dance Central past curfew. But she disappeared and didn't come back. Nearly four weeks later, they found her body shoved in a dance duffle bag in one of the studios they don't use anymore." I finished.
"OMG!! So we're living in a crime scene?!?!!" Kenz screeched.
"No! They caught who did it... Right Brooke?" Paige asked.
"Uh, no. It says the killer was never found just a note that said:
'Hiding in a place where stars are everywhere.' The case was inconclusive." I stated.
"So, the girl was found dead?" Nia asked.
"Yea."
"Huh, a place where stars are everywhere. That could be ANYWHERE!" Sofia screamed, a little too loudly.
"Let's forget about it and go to sleep." Chloe decided. But I wasn't tired, after reading that, I don't think I'll ever sleep as long as I'm here.
*Ding Ding Ding*
"Attention dancers: Please report to the Dance Central for an important meeting concerning dance placement." The stupid intercom announced.
"Perfect timing." Kendall muttered angrily.
