A 'tap tap tap' upon my door,
sends shivers down my spine.
I do not know if man or beast,
or creature of divine.
The air is crisp, the moon is bright.
I feel the gathering of dew.
As I pace and fret my mind
for what I am to do,
another knock comes at the door
and I stumble back in fear.
I do not know how to respond,
for I have sipped upon much beer.
I want to scream
I want to run
but instead let out a moan.
No one to tell,
No one to ask,
I've always lived alone.
The knocking stops,
but still, you see,
I won't open the door.
In my toxic state,
I decide to wait,
and sleep upon the floor.
Q: Why was he so scared?

Answer to previous:
The Baker did as Jim had asked, but the steps were not complete.
Though he wished to do as asked, he could not bake with meat.
Into the oven her body went, but the heat was not enough.
He tried to smash and burn her bod, but the ash was coarse and rough.
Into the batter he mixed her up, despite the bony make.
Prize now complete, and with no meat, for Little Jimmy's cake.
( He bit into a bone, thus realizing the Baker had not tried to fool him and did indeed "put her body" into the cake, by way of cremation instead.)
