Making Bacon

Three little piggies

roll around in a pen.

Outside the gate

stand five well dressed men.

They  traveled ten miles

to be at this fence,

to fix this their problem,

to end this offense.

The piggies do roll

and oink in the mud,

approaching the food trough,

slop, meat, and love.

They sniff and they snack

and they won't leave a thing,

except in their poop;

a bright shiny ring.

The men wait around

till the piggies are done,

then head back to city

to resume their fun.

This won't be the last trip

to this northern farm,

their job will require

many more harms.

The piggies don't care,

they just want to eat,

they'll roll and they'll play

as these men bring them meat.

Who are these men, and what are they doing?

Answer to previous:

She was buried alive in a coffin underground.

(the ringing is a hint to old days when people used to bury bodies with a bell attached in case the "corpse" woke up, they could ring the bell and be unburied)
