Chapter 12

“Yes Harry. I forgive you.”

He smiled and stood up. 

“Lets go then”

We started walking but then we both realised we had no way to get home.

We laughed until we felt rain. Oh god.

Within minutes it was pouring down and Harry was yelling at the cab driver to come and get us faster.

But by the time the cab came we were drenched.

We quickly got in, Harry let me go first. I could tell things where gonna change.

After about 3 minutes I started to get really cold, I started shaking and I was pale. So was Harry but not as bad as me.

“Hey move over” Harry said tapping the middle seat next to him. 

So I did and he put his arm around me and we hugged each other. I see what he’s doing here, trying to warm us both up. He was being really sweet. I liked this Harry.

We ended up at my apartment first and I didn't want to leave Harry, his hour was half an hour away and he was freezing.

“Harry, do you maybe wanna just come up to mine instead. B-because Your house is far away and your freezing.” I said nervously. 

He smiled at me “I’d love to”

So we both ran into the lobby, crap air conditioning was making the cold worse. As soon as we reached my level we ran to my door.

“H-h-hurry Im gonna die”

“Im trying” I said trying to get the key in the lock but my hands where shaking.

He realised my struggle and took the keys from me and unlocked the door.

We ran into the warm room. I quickly got us towels and soft blankets to warm ourselves. Ahhh. Nice and warm.

After warming up Harry spoke.

“Thanks” He gave me a huge smile.

‘No problem, want any hot chocolate ?” I said slowly walking to the cupboard.

“Fuck yes !” He sounded excited.

I quickly made the hot chocolate then sat back down beside Harry. It was silent for a while until my phone rang and it was on full volume so it scared the shit out of me and Harry.

“Hello?”

“Lauren, its me Alexis, come to my office now !”

“Ugh can’t you ever come to my place ?”

“Now come here!” she hung up.

I sighed.

“Whats up ?” Harry asked.

“We have to go and see Alexis, well I do anyways”

“Oh, ok then lets go” he stood up and walked to the door.

“Um..Harry ?” I said giving him a “look”.

“What ?” He looked confused.

“I have to put some makeup on” I said pointing to my face.

“Lauren, your beautiful with or without makeup you don’t need it, come on” He said as he opened the door.

“Harry..” I whined.

“You look fine, come on” He walked out the door.

I quickly ran to my room and grabbed my makeup bag and hid it from Harry.

When we got to the car Harry offered to drive, knowing I had to do my makeup I let him.

As soon as I brought out my makeup Harry gave me a disappointing stare.

“What ?!” I questioned him.

“You don’t need it you know, your perfect”

“I do though Harry” I said in a dull voice.

“Ok but you really don’t need it”

“Yeah…Yeah…” I said not believing him.
