I blushed and looked away from the cute, attractive, adorable boy that was staring at me. He probably stared at me because I was an eleven on a scale from one to ten or I had something on my face. I went with the first one. I didn't want to jump to conclusions but I am Asian and from my quick glance he looked Asian, so my parents would approve. He had black hair, chocolate brown eyes, and brown-tannish skin. Wow, he was very attractive. He was wearing a tank top and I saw those gorgeous biceps and I was like DAAAYYYUUMMM! I stole another glance at him and realized he was in my English class. He was that one kid with the really poetic song lyrics written all over his notes. He also worked here but I only saw his hair because he was in the back room most of the time. I was pretty sure his name was...Calvin? He was new here from Australia with three other boys whose names slipped from my mind at the moment. I pushed those thoughts away and kept reading my book. I finished my food and saw someone in my peripheral vision. I expected it to be Betty to take away my bowl but I saw those gorgeous biceps I knew it was the bus boy.
"Hey...um miss, are you done with this?" those pink lips asked.
I looked into his chocolate brown eyes and said, "Umm...yeah! Thanks."
He nodded and clumsily took away my bowl. I laughed lightly and helped the poor boy. I took the cup from his hand and "accidently" brushed hands with him. We both blushed at the contact but he didn't see me blush. After he washed the bowl and cup, we both stood in the back room awkwardly glancing at each other. I spoke first and said,
"By the way, my name is Mari."
"I know," he said.
I smiled at his comment and that he actually remembered my name when I only thought his name was Calvin. "And yours is?" I questioned.
"Calum," he blushed.
'Calum' was all I thought and mentally face palmed becasue it was NOT Calvin. I motioned him to follow me back to the booth because I didn't just want to stand there. He followed and sat across from me. This time he started the conversation and said,
"So... is this when we become best friends, become each others first in everything, then one of us screws up by saying 'I love you', we make up, and then have a bunch of cute children and live happily ever after?"
I laughed way too loudly and said,
"Yep."
