I Can't Help Falling In Love With You

Chapter 7: First Day Done

(Aaron's POV)

The first two periods were tiresome and completely boring, History was a real bore however what really did it for me was Religion. Miss had us write a PEEL paragraph about why it's important to love thy neighbour as you love yourself. Okay, so maybe Religion wasn't that boring, however, Miss just makes it so fucking boring, lucky I was with Owen otherwise wouldn't have survived. Recess was interesting to a certain degree, I hung out with Dawn and the others, as usual, she didn't seem to be shaken up with the whole her-kissing-me-on-the-cheek-thing. Then came third and the fourth period which was Maths and English, nothing exciting happened but it overall it was pretty good for the first day of lessons.

At the start of lunch, Dawn drops me off outside the library near the benches, Dawn asks me, "Are you sure you wanna do this Aaron? I mean can't you just tell her that you'd rather hang out with us?". "Whoa Dawn, you know I can't do that. You of all people to tell me this, come on Dawn...it would be just plain rude of me to cancel at the last minute" She puts on a pouty expression and looks at me with it, "Look don't get all pouty, it's not gonna help Dawny I already said that I would meet her at lunch and that's what I am doing. Trust me Dawn I'll be fine it's not like it's a date or anything." Dawn stay silence before answering back, "Yeah... ok fine but I want to make sure that she knows that you're mine." WHOA WAIT...WHAT?! I'M DAWN'S? I only said that she was mine this morning in the means of a best friend... or did I?". "Okay, Dawn I'm yours." I reply, "Yeah you are mine, you're my best friend." "Whoa ok, damn it Dawn you got my hopes up for nothing.". "Anyway better go, Aaron, cya." Dawn leans in for a hug to which I respond by hugging her back, she now makes her way back to down the path we took to get to the library.

Now I'm sitting down outside the school library hoping that Megan actually shows up, I mean I met her at recess and told her to meet me here. I'm about to stand up when Megan comes sheepishly around the corner with her group. I take a massive breath in before releasing it out. They're now standing in my way almost like they're blocking it, I stare at all five of them individually then I turn my attention to Megan, "Whoa she is cute...". Serena asks me, "So Aaron, are you ready to spend time with Megan?" I reply back with, "Y-Yeah I suppose." Serena turns to Megan before saying, "Remember Megan play nice but don't play too much." I see that Megan blush scarlet at what Serena just said, Megan proceeds to assure Serena, "Y-Yeah, of course, I won't." Serena then bids farewell to her loyal blonde friend and walks away with her posse right behind her, leaving Megan alone with me.

I sit down with Megan down on the benches near the library, the library was disconnected from the main building of the school. It's so awkward right now, there's quite a bit of tension in the air so I began to speak to break the silence, "H-Hey Megan..." She turns my way, to which I see how elegant her golden blonde hair glistens when the sun licks her platted hair. Megan proceeds with continue our convocation, "Hey Aaron, how's your day been so far?"

(Megan's POV)

I nervously wait for him to answer which feels like forever until he replies, "Yeah pretty good... how about you?" Aaron flashes a sweet innocent smile at me which now causes my heart to melt with how hot and astonishing smile truly is. "I'm feeling kinda nervous but great." I give him a similar smile back. "Huh? Why are you nervous? There's nothing to be nervous about... I promise I won't bite aha". He jokes but before I could reply he moves closer to me on the bench, the air around me thickness with Aaron's hot vanilla scented breath. He stares deeply into my light brown eyes before I reply with, "N-Nothing..." "Are you sure? Are you sure it's not because of me?" He asks me, I freak out. My face beings to paint itself scarlet. I respond with, "U-Umm N-No no not at all, trust me I'm fine." "Ugh way to go, Megan, he probably knows now that I have a crush on him, good job cheeks you just had to blush right now didn't you? ". Aaron starts to chuckle, I soon join in with him, I never thought I could get this close to him. "H-Hey Megan... for what it's worth, I personally think you're a really cute girl." Aaron complements me, my heart feels like it just overdosed on a drug named Aaron Limaza! I mental squeal with excitement. "T-Thanks Aaron I think you're pretty handsome in all honestly."

Right now we are currently talking about what our main interests are and what we plan on achieving in the future. Aaron tells me that he wants to become a simple man who works a simple job while having some sort of form of music side job such as singing. "Aww nice, you can sing?" I ask him, "Yeah I do, I love singing especially old songs like the 1960s and later." He replies back. As I am about ask him another question, the stupid bell rings meaning that lunch was over and that it's time to head to fifth period. "Alrighty then..." He states, "Well I better go, it was great spending time with you... we should do it more. I would like to know you even more." Aaron tells me. "Aww thanks, I had fun, thank you for agreeing and yeah same I would spend more time with you," I reply with a sweet tone. "Ok cool, and no worries." Once again he smiles at me right before he hugs me with his robust arms, I try my best not to squeal and die from happiness. Aaron lets go and says his goodbye and so do I, that was the best lunch I've ever had here at Star Cove High in all the five years that I've attended here. "Oh hey! Can I ask a favour?" "Yeah sure, what's up?" "Umm, can I catch a ride home with you... I kinda got ditched by my friends" I smile with an embarrassed expression. "Sure no worries, meet me in the car park after school anyway I really have to go so, see you later after fifth period!" Aaron calls out. I wave goodbye to him once more before I walk to my final class for the day.

(Dawns POV)

I seriously can't believe Aaron, why would he agree to this stupid lunch with Megan I mean it's not like they're on a date or anything. "HOLY SHIT ARE THEY ON A DATE? No, no way they're not it's fine." I walk over to the others and sit down with such a gloomy expression which is printed all over my face. I give out a heavy sigh before Bella asks, "Heyyy Girl, what's up? How come you look like a Dementor just sucked the life out of you? Oh, wait hold on... sorry never mind I know why" I sit down on the chair with a kill-myself expression.

I take a deep breath in and then heave out a heavy sigh before asking Bella, "Bella... be honest with me. Do you really think I even have a shot with Aaron?" Bella's mouth drops right before she screams at the top of her lungs, "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! Girl of course you do, if you two can make it work then it will work. You two are SO cute together literally, you two already like an actual couple already and if you two do become an official couple then... Do you have any idea how much you and Aaron would become couple goals?! "Holy shit Bella, you really know how to boost my spirit up".

I then ask Bella, "Well what about Megan? She's so much hotter and cuter than me..." "Umm stop right there girl, Aaron would never go for a girl like her trust me. I know for a fact that since first-year high school he's had the biggest crush on you and a crush like that doesn't just go away like that. Besides you're an all natural beauty, I'm pretty sure that skanky bitch uses all kinds of makeup to look like that. Come on girl you have to keep fighting, Aaron's been fighting for you for who knows how long now! You've only been fighting for him at least a month or two and already you want to give up just because he went to go have lunch with a girl he barely even knows? Don't even get me started when he saw you kissing your boyfriend around three years ago... Do you know how much he wanted to give up and how painful that experience was for him?

Wow, I can't believe it, after all this time... Aaron's been through hell all of his high school years and it's my fault. I put him through that experience and I can't believe he still chasing after me. Now I know he's the one... the one who's stolen my heart, the one who I want to be with... The hero I need.
