Annika is only daughter of Harsvardan Truvedi and Kalavathy. she also lives with her loved Dadi (Pranavi ) . She calls pyaari Dadi. She is an Apple eye of them, Annika's father gives all the freedom for her but her mother is kind of orthodox so she always advices Annika to be in limit in the relationship. She emphasized Annika to follow the tradition as it's very much important as in this modern generation anything can happen which can cause lost in dignity , self respect and also degraded family name. So, she will support Annika's love as she respects and trust her daughter's decision and choice but she strictly asks her to be in limit and that too she hopes Annika doesn't cheat her hope and trust. So, Annika follows her mother's adamant caring requests as well. So, Annika becomes wise in choosing a life partner who would agree with her request maybe. So, in that way, she doesn't relive anyone easily, if a guy is a playboy, then she befriends with him as she doesn't with everyone but no love. Other than that, she never expects a boyfriend who should be equal with her status. As long as she loves and he truly loves her , that's they big deal. Somemore, she agrees with her mom's rules as well because sometimes, guys prefer to have physical relationship and cheats those girls after they had their lust achieved. Annika's friend , Payal faced this . Payal has to abort the child because of her boyfriend 's denial. So, Annika feels it's always better to be in a limit when in relationship so that she thinks can find a best and honesty guy as well.

Annika has completed her degree in Fashion Designing Course. She has been one of best students that admired by all the lecturers and she has quite big circle as well. Daksh is her coursemate. He is a good friend of her. Both of them are quite close. Daksh always helps Annika in all the situations. During first year, Annika was raged by few seniors and it was Daksh who saved her from them. Sometimes, when attending to club parties for her friends birthday, Daksh always makesure none forces Annika to drink or to call her for a date or dance. He is quite possessive over Annika. He loves Annika but he never told her about that. Daksh is son of Assistant Commissioner, he seems to be nice and decent but none knows his hidden bad habit. Yes he likes to have open physical relationship with girls like one night stand but none of his close friends know about this. Even Annika as well. Annika assumes he is a nice and decent guy. He would be very suitable for everyone.

However he does, he can't get a deep place in Annika's heart. So he makes a big plan to trap her. He knows Payal is in relationship with an outsider. But since Annika 's close friend is not Payal, so he plans to deceive her by saying that he loves Payal a lot. He always tells Annika that he loves Payal deeply. He even tells her that he wants to confess her in a grandeur manner to surprise her. Payal never revealed that she is in a relationship with anyone so, Annika thinks Payal is single. One day, Daksh was having crocodile tears in front of Annika saying that Payal has cheated him, by having an affair, he says he can't be loved by anyone because everyone is like using him. He says if he loves anyone again, he prays hard so that she can accept his proposal if not he might get suicide because he believes that he can love someone very deeply but none is ready to believe or trust him. So, Annika feels sympathy on him as well because so far as she knows, Daksh is a well mannered guy . He is a smart student as well.

Then, after the final year, Daksh still keeps in contact with Annika. Both of Annika's parents know him as a good friend. Slowly as days passed, Daksh proposes to Annika. Annika has a good impression and she feels that she can trust him fully so she also accepts his proposal but clearly told him about her love rules as well. Daksh at first found it difficult but somehow he wants Annika because her father is such a businessman, so he pretends to agree wholeheartedly. He also never demands any kisses or for any intimate relationship so that makes Annika to feel proud with her decision. Her life goes so happily with Daksh as he is a good companion for her . Daksh supports all of Annika's future plans as he wants she succeed in her life in her own way.
