Luca didn't know how she kept getting into these situations. Situations where she would always end up in tight spots. First, she ran into James and Sirius, got dragged along on that little "adventure", then she got placed next to Sirius in Transfigurations, for the year, then she got detention because of said boy. Now because of the same guy, she was going to do something she promised herself she would never do, a party.

To be perfectly honest, Luca had never been to one, even a birthday party as a kid. She was panicking. She didn't know what to wear, what to say, how to act, this was all a blur to her. She just decided to go with something simple, she grabbed her suede bell bottoms, and a skin tight white shirt that she tucked into them. Luca looked her self over in the mirror, she thought she looked pretty decent. Truth be told, Luca didn't usually wear anything other than her uniform, I mean she usually wore the same outfit, which just consisted of jeans and a t-shirt. The was also new to her.

Looking at the time, Luca was that it was 7:50, the party would start in 10 minutes, Sirius had told her earlier that day that he would pick her up from Ravenclaw tower at 7:55. Luca started to head down the stairs from her dorm and wait outside for the rebellious teen. She waiting for about two minutes before the boy came into sight.

To say the least Sirius was shocked. He had never seen her out of her uniform, Sirius couldn't deny that Luca was very beautiful. He always thought she was beautiful, but she looked even more exquisite than usual. Of course the boy would never tell her that, he was happy being her friend.

Sirius dramatically offered Luca his hand, and they were on their way. Luca was in a good mood already. Halloween was her brother Eli's birthday, she had sent him a letter and a gift like every year. Even though Luca had no faith in restoring her relationship with her parents, her parents, it wasn't like that with her brothers. Demetri was the closest to her, but the other 4 weren't strangers, they all sent letters to the girl, truth be told, the reason they weren't as close was the age gap. They were never home to see it happen, and when they are home, their parents whisk them away to parties or events, leaving the girl at home.

She was in a good mood because Eli responded. Eli was 24 and an auror, he was always working and wasn't home much, however, he said that he would be there for Christmas, she didn't know about the others though, but she didn't blame them, sure her parents were sexist, but they were still hard on all their kids, the boys were held in high expectations, but Luca's were even higher.

Sirius, noticing the girl was in a good mood, asked, knowing it wasn't about the "torture" he was making her do.

"You know, Little Red, you seem to be very happy for someone who is going to their "doom" as you put it"

Luca hadn't even realized she had been smiling, Luca was debating on weather or not to tell the long haired teen about it, then coming to the conclusion that they were friends, she did.

"Oh, its just it was Eli's birthday today, and I sent his gift out last week, he responded and he is going to be home for Christmas this year."

Sirius was confused, he had never heard of this Eli fellow. Luca, realizing her mistake, quickly added that Eli was her older brother.

"Are you close with your brothers?"

"I would say, we were never close when we were little because they were never home, my brothers have quite and age gap, I mean my oldest brother is 17 years older than us, so we have just recently started to get close in the latter years."

Truth be told Sirius was jealous, him and Regulus didn't get along. They used to but then their mother got in the way. He would never admit it, but he still loved his brother, even though he was a Slytherin.

As Luca talked about her family, she didn't even notice that they were are the Fat Lady's portrait.

"Password" said the Fat Lady noticing the approaching teens.

"Gillyweed"

The portrait opened and revealed a raging party full of drunk teens who could barely stand. Luca was shocked to say the least.

"How are they almost all drunk? The party started 10 minutes ago!" said the shocked red head

"Fire whiskey love, strong stuff" said the boy shrugging his shoulders.

Leading Luca into the party Sirius spotted the 3 Marauders and brought Luca over to them. Remus was trying to keep James from getting up on the coffee table and professing his love for Lily, Peter was already passed out on the ground, sleeping without a care in the world, and Lily was trying to stop a couple from making out in the middle of the floor. To say the least, Luca was mortified.

Remus spotting them, called the boy over.

"Padfoot" he said in relief, "please for the love of Merlin, take him!" said the werewolf gesturing to the drunken mess of a boy.

Sirius merely laughed and headed over to help his friend, leaving an awkward Luca with the scarred boy.

"So," Remus said noticing his friends discomfort,"How are you liking your first party?"

Luca trying to formulate an answer merely just shrugged.

The sensible Marauder just laughed, and lead Luca over to the food table, knowing that she loved to eat anything with sugar.

Once Sirius had gotten the Potter boy down, he headed back over to the eating girl.

"Come on Luca!" said the boy dragging her away from her food.

Luca, alarmed that this boy would take her away from her chocolate cake, was too busy whining to notice that he was leading her over to the dance floor full of drunk witches and wizards.

"No, no, no, no, no!" said the girl trying to go back to her spot over by the cake.

"Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!" said the boy tugging her into the middle of the room where all the dancing was happening.

Luca looked around the room for Lily or Remus to help her out of the boys grasp. She spotted Remus and sent her a pleading look, all the boy did was laugh and shake his head. Luca made a mental note to kill him later.

After 20 minutes of awkwardly "dancing " Sirius , deciding the girl had suffered enough, was free to go.

Luca, deciding she had had enough teenage fun, left the party that night with a mission, one, kill Remus, two, never let Sirius drag her to a party again.
