Chapter 1: The Road Trip

Hey guys! So basically this is my first fanfic ever, so please bear with me, and enjoy!

Disclaimer: I don't own PJO or Heroes of Olympus. Oh, and in this story we gonna keep Jason... ahhh im not gonna start thinking about that or im gonna start crying my eyes out. ANYWAYS, enjoy!!

------------Percy------------

Oh gods, he couldn't believe it. The wars had ended 1 year ago (finally!) and tonight, the gods were going to have a really late awards event for Romans and Greeks in Washington D.C. Right now, it was 3:00 pm and the whole squad was on a road trip to there. Frank was driving, because everybody knew that he was really focused, and Jason, probably the best driver out of the seven, really needed a break. Annabeth was in front too, sitting next to him on google maps, telling him the way.

Percy, Jason, and Piper were in the back seat, (Percy was trying to feed some birds outside of the window his chips because "there was a lot of traffic and we weren't moving, so like why the Hades not") and Leo, Hazel, and Nico were in the back.

They rented a huge van, because for some reason the gods told them to pack a lot of their clothes, and gods, Piper had a lot.

"It isn't my fault! Ten new outfits keep on appearing in my wardrobe every week. It's my mom, if you haven't hinted already," she said, and rolled her kaleidoscope eyes. Percy just laughed at that, and Piper play hit his arm. The two had gotten pretty close over time. Then, Percy started throwing his chips at her, and Piper starting throwing clips and rubber bands that kept on reappearing in her pocket, all just laughing.

"Gods! Will you guys stop? I have a freakin' headache," Jason said, annoyed and sitting in the middle of them.

"Sorry, Mr. Grumpy," Piper said, smiling. She was wearing pink strawberry flavoured lip-gloss (Percy only knew that because he saw her putting it on an hour or so ago) and it looked really good, contrasting against her mediterranean skin.

"Percy? Will you give me my water bottle? I left it in the back." Annabeth said. "Course, Wise Girl," Percy said, smiling at Annabeth and her stormy grey eyes.

Percy reached for the water bottle and- "OH MY GODS, OH MY GODS, OH MY FREAAAAAAAAAAAAAKINNNNNGGGG GODS!!!!" Leo screamed really excitedly, slapping the water bottle out of Percy's hand while he was trying to get it, looking at his phone that he made for himself and everybody else to contact each other without being hunted down my monsters (and also to contact Calypso, he didn't tell anybody that but everybody knew).

"Dude! You just splashed this water on me!" Nico said, obviously pissed off.

"Sorry! But I dont really care! Guess what guys!!" Leo said, with a crazy looking smile on his face going ear to ear.

"What is it?" Hazel asked.

"Calypso is coming next week!! She is finally cominggggg!!!!!" Leo said, jumping around in his seat frantically and still looking down at his phone.

"Oh wow! That's great news, repair boy!" Piper said, with a smile on her face, her dimples showing.

"Yaaaaaaaaay!" Leo said.

"Calm down, but good for you." Frank said to him, looking in the front mirror.

For the rest of the car ride, Frank and Annabeth were having a conversation about things he didn't understand (more like he didn't want to understand), Percy and Piper were fooling around, Jason was annoyed and tried to read a book, Hazel was trying to talk to Nico while he was listening to Music the whole time, and Leo was on his phone probably talking to Calypso. It was a pretty good road trip, to Percy, Piper, (kind of) Annabeth and Frank, and Leo anyways.

-----------At the hotel----------

"Were here!" Annabeth said, checking twice if they had the right address, because oh my gods, it was a really big and fancy hotel. This guy in a stupid-looking but fancy uniform, in Percy's opinion, came up to them, took there key, and told them to get out and that they will take care of everything else.

"Dude.. What if they just stole everything in there? That would be craaaaazy," Leo said, even more hyper, happy, and looking like he just drank 5 gallons of caffeine than ever, which kind of scared Percy.

"No, they wouldn't. Mortals her spend... woah... 5,000 bucks here for one night?" Annabeth said, checking to make sure if she read that right.

"What? We spent 5,000 dollars for one night?! We are gonna be staying here for 3!" Jason said, looking at the phone with her, pretty close.

"Well actually, the gods did, but still. Thats insane." Annabeth replied, glancing at Jason, with the tiniest bit of red scattered across her cheeks.

"Um, yeah. Crazy. Annabeth, why dont we go in? Its almost 7:00. The party starts at 9 and we need time to freshen up and get ready and everything." Percy said, getting kind of protective.

Jason looked confused and shrugged, going to Piper's side.

"Awwwkkkwaaardd," Leo whispered in a sing-songy voice. Percy glared at him, and he just crazily smiled and laughed back. Sometimes Percy wondered about that guy, but he still loved him.

As they walked into the lobby, everybody gasped. It was crazily fancy. "Woah. This is as fancy as my dad's management building.." Piper said, looking around. Percy was kind of surprised she said that, Piper barely talks about her dad.

"Well, lets get our rooms," Annabeth said.

"Jason, you have all the information on your phone? I can't find mine for some reason," She said.

"Yeah, I do. Let's go," Jason assured, as the two blondes walked up to the front desk.

Everyone else sat down on the fancy velvet sofas in the humongous lobby, looking above them. It had more floors than Percy could count.

"I heard that there is a Penthouse here at the top and it could be booked. Imagine if we get that," Piper said, smiling and looking at Percy. "Percy?" He was zoned out.

Piper waved her hands in front of Percy's face, she had white nail polish on, contrasting beautifully against her skin and some rose gold rings on. Percy looked at her, still zoned out. She had her chocolate brown hair braided back, a pink and blue bandana on her hair acting kind of like a headband, diamond studs on her ears, some mascara on her eyelashes, pink lipgloss on, a white tank-top on that was shorter in the front and lower in the back, kind of loose but perfect pink and blue pants on that matched her bandana, and light brown hiking boots. She looked really pretty.

Recently, she'd her outfits were more stylish. 'Drew makes me wear outfits she picks out for me everyday,' Piper had ranted to him a while ago.

"Earth to Percy?!" Piper said loudly, her kaleidoscope eyes meeting his bright green eyes.

"Huh?" Percy said, kind of in shock after being zoned out for so long.

"Um, as I was saying, we might get the penthouse. Wouldn't that be cool?" She said, with a little but of concern.

"Oh, yeah. Sorry. That would be really awesome," he said, with a smile plastered on his face.

"We got the key," Annabeth said as she and Jason walked back. Everybody got up and went to the elevator.

"Floor 31..." Jason muttered.

"Wow, thats really high," Annabeth exclaimed.

"Yeah," he responded. When the elevator opened, there was a very short hall, with only one door.

"I think we got it," Percy said to Piper. She nodded and smiled. Jason looked puzzled, and he opened the door.

"Wow."
