You've heard the question numerous times -- how did the famous stoic, Ushijima Wakatoshi, fall in love?

"I'm really not sure." Your relationship with the teen felt like an eternity; you and the tall brunette had quite the interesting history together, most of which were silent moments of comfort and little shows of affection. Many of your girl friends were confused by this; it was difficult to fathom how a guy with a volleyball obsession could afford to have time for love. Being third-years and all only added to more curious inquires, but none could be answered with satisfaction chagrin.

"Shouldn't you know him like the back of your hand?" With graduation looming ahead and time marching mercilessly against you and your pals, you found comfort in the fact that your beloved friends managed to make time for your weekly dinners. The usual three girls -- Rei, Luka, and Mima refused to leave you alone after finding out about your paramour -- found their seats and continued to berate each other on their love lives and current struggles; you were the favorite victim.

"I mean I still don't know what to say about him." The three sigh in unison and start to wonder aloud about the beginning of your love life. It had been what, almost two years now that you've been together with Ushijima? You couldn't really name the amount of time that had passed due to your shit sense of time.

"Did he find you really pretty or something?"

"Oh no, what if he fell in love at first sight?" All the girls seem to laugh at this idea, and you seem to ponder this one as well with the intention of bringing the question up to him tomorrow.

"Wait, what if it's because you were nice to him?" The girls pause at this suggestion. It's not that hard to fall in love with someone who showed you genuine kindness; it's also a problem.

"Oh no, no wait, what if it's because you did something that really struck him? You know, resonated with him?" Huh, that would be another good thing to ask him.

"I'll see if I can ask Wakatoshi tomorrow." You mentally list down this suggestions while ignoring the urge to call your blunt boyfriend at this instant. The trio seem to have noticed the first name basis situation and point a smile at your direction -- two years is an eternity.

'I'm not too sure what to say aside from it felt right to be with you.' You couldn't resist the urge to call Ushijima, although you knew how tired he was from practice.

"Right?" His choice of words was confusing, but it felt a bit cheesy to hear him such a thing.

'Yes, like some kind of fate. Or maybe it's because of how charming you can be.' Your hand goes up to your mouth attempting to stifle a laugh.

"I'm not charming." You had plenty of characteristics and charming was not one of them at all. You didn't expect Ushijima to back up his statement with a number of examples, all of which seemed to highlight your pleasant personality around others.

'The team finds you very relaxing to have around. Tendo says it's like having a cup of water after a hard workout -- refreshing.' You note to thank Tendo on this comment tomorrow.

"So you think I'm nice and cute?" There's a cheeky smile on your face that can't seem to stop growing in size, and Ushijima doesn't hesitate to confirm your statement in a few simple words.

'I think you're everything I need.'

Even if he couldn't find a good way to describe it, it sounded as if he would do everything in his power and ability to make sure the both of you were happy. You made sure to share the same sentiment, and it balanced out your position and place in your relationship with Ushijima Wakatoshi.

"Geez, I love you too, Waka." You really did, and there were no words to show or say how.
