"Eomma." I buried my head into his neck, sniffling "It's okay Kat.... I promise." He moved over to the bench, sitting down so I could cuddle into him properly "It's so good to have you back." "I missed you." I whimper, hiding my face "I know.....I'm sorry for everything. I made the call....." "You're the reason I forgot?" "We didn't want you to live in pain." Another pair of arms wrapped around me and pulled me away, hugging me tightly "Chanyeol." I whispered, pulling away and kissing him. I couldn't feel his wolf anymore, nor could I feel the link. "Did you find another mate?" "When you died.....I had no choice....I would have died if I didn't." "Who is it?" "Me." Baekhyun whispered, looking down with tears in his eyes "I'm sorry Kat, I didn't mean for it to happen." "It's okay Baek." I got up and hugged him, sighing "Take care of him for me, okay?" I kissed his forehead before walking away, sparking up "Kat, wait." I ignored them, still walking when someone spun me round, kissing me "I think not." I pulled away to say it, walking away "Kat, please don't leave. I just got you back." "Chanyeol, focus on your mate. He's hurting right now, he needs you." "What about you?" "Me? "Eomma." I turned and looked at Tao who was crying, the others looking confused. I went over, kissing his forehead "Goodbye Tao." "No.....you can't leave." "You're leaving? Just as we got you back, you're going to leave?" "What's here for me Suho?" I choked out a laugh, spreading my arms "My baby died, my mate found someone else.....I have nothing here." I went upstairs and grabbed a sports bag, packing it with some things I would need. Some toiletries, charger, camera, drawing pad and stencils, my brush, some makeup. I didn't really pack much, especially since I can easily get some new clothes and shoes when I reach a new country or city.... "Katherine?" "Yes?" "Come downstairs for a minute." I grabbed my passport, chucking that in my bag too, before heading down "Yes?" "There's someone here to speak to you." I went into the kitchen, only to find Jin standing there
"Yes?" "Come walk with me." We went out, after I packed food to eat on my journey "What is it?" "Suho told us you remembered everything. How are you feeling?" "I'm okay. You know, it's not everyday that you dream about losing your baby, only to find out it actually happened." I shrugged, going to a shop for some water "So what are you going to do now?" "Travel.....find a mate." "What about-" "It's Baekhyun." "Oh." "Yeah. I'm sorry Jin, but I would really like to get a move on, I have a long journey ahead of me." "I understand. Take care won't you?" "Of course Jin." "Well......I guess this is goodbye, huh?" "Yup. It's been a pleasure knowing you Kim Seokjin." "You too, Katherine Gilbert." I bowed my head before leaving, Jin yelling "Hey Katherine?" "Yeah?" "Stay safe." I turned round and got going, heading to the harbour "Last call." I got a ticket and got on the boat, leaning against the railing at the front. I saw Jin in the distance so I waved, Jin waving back. We set off sail, heading towards our destination.....

"Hey Jin?" "Yeah?" "Is she really gone?" "I saw her get on the boat myself." I whispered, walking off "Hey Jin?" "What?" "Is she gonna be okay?" "Only time will tell." I walked off, hunting down her brother "Minho." "Leeches aren't welcome here." Key growled but I ignored him "What's wrong Jin?" "It's Katherine! She remembered everything." "What? Where is she?" "You won't be able to get to her." "Why?" "Because she left......she's gone." "WHAT? What do you mean she's gone?" "She got on a boat.......she's leaving Korea." "Forever?" "Who knows, only time will tell." I sighed, looking at him "Thank you.....for telling me." "It's okay. I need to go break the news to Jimin." "Yes....that is a good idea. Take care Jin." I nodded and left, heading home "Hey, Jin hyung's back." "Thank Hell hyung, we're starving." "Now isn't a good time Taehyung. " "What's wrong Jinnie?" "Sit down guys.....I have bad news for you."
They all sat down, looking between each other "Katherine remembered everything that happened." "What? How is that possible?" "She's a hybrid Kookie, it was bound to happen at some point." "Is there any good news?" "No, only more bad news." Joonie took my hand, kissing it gently "You can tell us." "She left......she's leaving Korea, possibly forever." "Hyung, how can you let that happen?" "Think about it, she has nothing here. Her baby is dead, her mate found someone else. She doesn't have anything tying her here." "She has us, her family, she has her pack. What does she not have here?" "A mate.....her real family......." They all went quiet, nodding "That's true hyung.....when will we see her again?"
