*One Year Later*
I was shivering as I walked up to the house, smelling like the ocean. I knocked gently, hands blue from the cold. The door opened, Mark standing there looking tired "M-Mark?" I stuttered, his eyes widening "Kat, get in. GUYS KAT IS HERE." Everyone came rushing down, JB going to run a bath "Oh my god, what happened?" "When I ran from here, I was bitten in the arm. I threw myself onto a boat and a Doctor helped me.....but we sailed into a storm.." "What happened after?" "The boat capsized and we were stuck on a massive island.....I got so hungry after a month of just eating berries. I killed them one by one." I stuttered, shaking "How did it take so long." I had no idea where I was, I was stuck. I started swimming......I'm so tired." I whispered, Yugyeom grabbing me "You're too light." He carried me upstairs, sighing "JB done a bath for you, okay?" "Gyeom?" "Yeah?" "You waited for me?" "Of course I did." He smiled, kissing my forehead but shivering
"We need to get you in the bath." He sat me down on the edge of the bath and ripped my top and bottoms off, stripping himself. I got my underwear off and got into the bath, turning the hot water off "Watch out." Gyeom got in behind me, pulling me close to his chest "I missed you." "I m-missed y-you too Gyeom." I whispered, lacing my fingers with his "Shall we sleep out tonight?" "I'm used to sleeping out." I sighed, Yugyeom pulling his hands away and washing my hair. "Hey Kat?" "Yeah?" "What was it like? Living on an island?" "It was really beautiful, it was really hot during the day, but freezing at night. Some of the animals were beautiful." "Did you eat them?" "They kept me company when I killed everyone and had nobody. So no, I didn't eat them." I smiled, feeling him wash the shampoo out. "Hey Kat?" "Yeah?" "Do you...still....." "I still love you Gyeom." I whispered, turning my head to kiss him "I love you too." He smiled, kissing me this time. "Hey guys?" There was a knock at the door, causing us to pull away "Yeah?" "I really need to pee." "Come in then." "Are you covered?" "Hold on
I covered myself as best I could, Yugyeom helping. "Done." Jackson came in so I covered my eyes, laughing "Finished." I uncovered my eyes, watching him flush "Feel better?" "Yup. How are you feeling?" "More warm than before. I'm just really tired now." "I bet. Yugyeom, JB made your bed since it was a mess." "Tell him I said thanks?" He washed his hands before leaving so I relaxed, laying back down "Shall we get out?" I asked after I washed my body, Yugyeom washing his hair "Yeah." I pulled the plug and we got up, getting out the bath before putting towels on "Gyeom?" "Yeah?" "I need to borrow some clothes. Mine are now destroyed." "That's fine, I don't mind." We went into his room and he got me some clothes, both of us getting changed "Safe to enter?" "Yeah." Jinyoung came in, holding a cup of hot chocolate "Here." "Thank you." "How are you feeling?" "Very tired. I used all my energy getting back here." "Yugyeom, can you leave for a minute? I need to talk to Katherine." "Yeah." He gave me a kiss before leaving, Jinyoung sitting down as I drank my cocoa
"What's up?" "Well....the vampires all think you're dead so they've called off the bounty." "That's good." "Now another question. What are you going to do about the other pack?" "Well.....I should probably go home, but Yugyeom-" "Will be here, you know that. If you ever want to see him, you can come over, okay?" "Okay....I'm just worried." "About?" "Last time I left, I was gone for 20 years, and because they don't remember that I came back, it's gonna be more than 20 years now." "You're just scared Kat, it's understandable. But you're gonna feel better when you're home." "You think?" "I know." "Okay....I'm gonna trust you on this....But what if they don't want me back?" "They'll accept you back, trust me." "Okay." "Now get some sleep okay?" "Will you stay until I fall asleep?" "Yeah." I got into bed and cuddled down, looking at him "Hey Jinyoung?" "Yeah?" "How did you and Mark become mates?" "We already knew it to begin with, but we didn't do anything about it. One night, Mark came to me crying, saying he didn't really feel like he got on with the members." "What did you say?"
"I told him that it'd be okay, that all he had to do was speak to the others. At first, all he would say was well done, or hello. About a week later, he told me it wasn't working, but when I spoke to the others, they told me how he was making an effort and they were okay with that. When I told him, he started crying. Ever since that night, we became closer, and eventually accepted that we are mates." "Wow. That's amazing." "Babe?" Mark opened the door, looking at me "How are you feeling? Any better?" "Much." I sighed, feeling drowsy. "Hey Mark?" "Yeah?" "Jinyoung told me how you became mates. It's really beautiful." "It wasn't if you were there. I'm a mess when I cry." "Eh, nobody's beautiful when they cry, they only tell you so you stop." "That's true." He nodded, sitting beside me "So you trying to sleep? You want us to leave?"
"You can stay.....tell me another story." I whispered, slowly falling asleep "How about Youngjae and Jaebum?" Mark smiled, petting my head "Oh yeah." "Tell me?" "At first, they hated each other's guts. Couldn't stand the sight of each other." "They would always hurt each other when they had a chance. After a while, they started getting along. They would acknowledge each other, hug each other. Mark was actually the one who caught them." "Please don't remind me of that." He groaned, shaking his head. It made me laugh a little, eyes almost shut "Goodnight Katherine." They both kissed my forehead before leaving, Yugyeom coming in and getting in behind me "Come here." I rolled over and cuddled into him, someone switching the light off "Night guys." "Night JB." I whispered, looking up at Gyeom who kissed me "Sleep." "I love you." "I love you too." We cuddled down, and for the first time in a year, I was happy to sleep..........
"Alright. You all set?" "I didn't really have much with me, just my bag." I chuckled, JB running off and coming back with a box "I kept them hidden this entire time." "Keep it with you. It's safer here." "Are you sure?" "Yeah. Gyeom?" I kissed him ever so softly, kissing his cheek after "I love you." "I love you too." He sighed, kissing my forehead "I'll be back soon okay? Or you can come visit." "I know." I pulled away, smiling "Bye Gyeom." "Get home safely." "Of course." I hugged them all before leaving, heading home.
Once I got inside, and took my shoes off, I went through to the living room "Well....good morning boys." "It's Kat." "You're still alive." "Barely." I chuckled, sitting down "I take it Bam didn't do it?" "Why would you want us to forget?" "Cause when I came here, I didn't realise I made everything worse so I didn't want you guys to remember me being back." "Kat?" I looked up and saw Suho who opened his arms "Come here." I got up and immediately hugged him, laughing "Hi eomma. It's great to see you guys again." "You knew you would at some point." "Not really. I didn't think I'd see any of you again." "Why?" "I almost died.....7 times." "What? What happened?" "I barely escaped with my life, I basically flew onto a random boat. We got caught in a really bad storm, ended up stuck on a huge island. I ate everybody after a month, had to ration my food, got bit by several snakes." "When did you get back?" "Around 3 this morning. I had to swim from the island, to Korea, then I had to run here, but I went to GOT7's."
"Why there?" "My mate was here this entire time. It's Yugyeom." "Well congrats on finding your mate." "Thanks eomma. Anyway, now that the search for me is over, can I officially come home now?" "Why would you even ask, you idiot? Of course you can." Baekhyun practically yelled, hugging me tightly "Hey Baek?" "Yes?" "Did you burn the note?" He nodded, sighing "Good, they don't need to know." We pulled away so I looked at all of them "It's weird being back home when you sleep outside an entire year." "I bet. So what was the island like?" "I'd live there forever if I could. I'll become a vegetarian, I just loved that place." "That good?" "Wah it was so gorgeous. If I had my camera, I would have took photos." "Could you find it?" "Probably. It took 3 days to swim so it should be close." I got my phone from the windowsill, getting up google "Who was on my phone?" "I charged it for you." "Thanks." I smiled, getting up a map "Oh." "What?" "It's not on the map." I searched around Korea, going after other islands too
"Does that mean you found an island that nobody else has?" "It's mine. My island!" I smiled, eventually giving up "I'm so happy." "I bet. So what do you plan on doing today?" "I'm wearing Gyeom's clothes, so I'm gonna get changed." I headed up to the, now, empty room "Your things are still here, I just sleep in with Baekhyun now." "Thought you would have stayed in your room." "He didn't want to leave his room." "Fair enough." I shrugged, staring at Chanyeol who sat down "Hey Chan?" "Yeah?" I went over and frowned "Look at me for a second." He did and I frowned even more "What's wrong?" "I'm just so tired." "Sleep." "But Baekhyun might need me." "What's wrong with him?" "I don't know, he's been having really weak days where he can't get out of bed or even open his eyes.".........
