a leaf fell over yerim, causing the girl to startle for a quick second. when she notices the leaf, she begins to examine it.

"it's pretty~!" she exclaimed into the cold air.

lots of people had thought weirdly of her, due to the fact that she had become so broken after her best friend broke her ultimate trust. she was always like that, peculiar and closed. she doesn't want to let anyone in anymore, as she was barely able to move on from her past.

she had taught herself to never have those emotions again- to never relive them again. she knows that when she thinks of these things, she instantly falls into a depression. she begins thinks of all of her flaws and mistakes, as well as the pain that was given to her in the past.

she notices what time it is and begins to head to her university class.

along the way, she spaces out and begins to feel lightheaded. of course, she doesn't think much of it, as it's been happening so frequently that it didn't cause her much pain. however, what she didn't know was that it was in fact a huge problem.

"yah!" a girl with long, black hair yells after she pushes herself and yerim off the side of the road, inches away from the car that would have just rammed into them. "are you okay?" she asks the emotionless girl.

yerim remains silent as she was still extremely spaced out and nauseous.

"this won't do. i'm taking you to the hospital. is that okay, hm?" the girl asks again.

yerim begins to nod, as if she was in another world. then, she passes out.

the other girl was dialing her friend to pick her up. as soon as she saw that yerim passed out, she immediately picked up the latter in her arms. "yah, yah, yah. you're going to be okay." she tried to reassure the girl that was now asleep.

-

"thanks, seungwan unnie." the girl gratefully said to her friend as she held yerim close to her, placing the younger's head on her shoulders.

"don't mention it. anything for you, sooyoung." seungwan lovingly said back to her friend.

"ah! we'll get off here." sooyoung eagerly said as she motioned to the hospital.

"do you want help?" seungwan offered with a caring expression.

"hm? no, i'm fine! really! you have more important things to do!" sooyoung responded as she laughed and smiled at her friend's kindness. "thank you for the ride, and possibly saving this girl's life."

"yah, if anyone saved her life, it's you! you've always been the girl to do that anyways." seungwan complimented the girl.

sooyoung began to shake her head, moving away from the car. "that's not me. that's you, unnie. well anyways, i think that i should get her some help.  right?" she responded as she placed yerim's arm on her shoulder, lifting her up as well.

seungwan nodded and began to leave. "bye sooyoung! good luck!"

sooyoung easily held the weight of the younger girl next to her. she was able to bring her to the hospital's desk, asking for what she should do next.

"hello, i found her earlier and she ended up passing out. i thought that she would need help." sooyoung patiently asked the nurse in front of her.

"sure, just lead her this way." the nurse said as she began to walk to an empty hospital room. "we're pretty busy right now... but please, make yourself comfortable! we'll try to get a doctor for you as soon as possible."

"thank you." sooyoung said as she bowed to the nurse. the nurse then walked away, leaving the two alone in the medium-sized hospital room. sooyoung removed yerim from her shoulder, took off the girl's backpack, and placed her onto the hospital bed. "too much. you remind me of her too much."
