Chapter 2

Maddie's POV

"Mark!!! Let my baby go, he has to go to school" I pulled Nate away from him.
"Mommy, I don't want to go to school " he cried
"Why baby?" I asked him
"Because I have no friends" he said crying
Awww I carried and comfort him. Finally I was able to send him to school. I feel bad for my baby, he behave strong outside but he is weak within. I called my workplace to let them know that am not feeling well. I have to lie because Mark needs me.

Ethan's POV

I heard my phone ringing and I picked it up
"What do you want"I said it in a stern way
"Come on bro ,when will you stop being strict? She questioned me
"Tell me what you want?!" I asked her
"Can you please go and pick up my son for me?"she pleaded
"I have to go out and look for someone that's why I came to Georgia"I almost shouted
"Please"
"Okay, I will " I said
"Love you big bro I will send you the address very soon" she said happily

I went to pick up my nephew and I saw a cute boy sitting on a bench alone. I didn't know what came over me but I wanted to get close to him and ask him why he's sitting there alone. After conflicting with my mind, I asked my nephew about him
"Hunter"I called
"Yes uncle" he answered
"Do you know the boy sitting there?"I asked
"Yes, he's a bully. So no one wants to be friends with him ." He said
I just looked into him face. Come with me
"Why uncle? please let's go" he pouted him face
"No" I said

I got close to him and said hello. He replied smiling at me but I realized he resembled me when he smiled. I ignored that thought and chatted with him.
"Hey cute boy, where is your mommy or daddy?" I asked
"I don't have a father, I only have my mom and she will be here anytime soon." He replied smiling again
"Hunter, can you please be his friend?" I requested
"No uncle , he is bad!!" He yelled
"Please " I pleaded
I looked at them playing. Asked of his name and he said, he's called Nathan. I also told him my name and asked him if we can be friends and he said.

Later, I saw a man calling out his name and he run to him and hugged him. He asked of his mommy but I didn't hear the guy's reply. He waved us goodbye and went away. Hunter and I went home talking about Nathan. In fact he's so cute and handsome just like me when I was little. I don't know why I want to get close to him. I pulled out of my thoughts and realized that I have to go and look for Maddie that's the main reason why I came to Georgia.I know she hates me right now and I don't care. We will go back to LA together whether she likes or not. She's mine. And even if she's dating or married I will kill that jerk. The investigator I hired has found out where she lives and am waiting for a perfect time to surprise her.

Maddie's POV
Mark told me what that bitch did to him. I felt so mad that I want to beat her up. I comforted him and even asked him to go and pick up Nate from because am scared to get caught by anyone in my company. I know am not sick but I did that because of Mark.
"Mommy "I heard Nate calling me
"Yes my love" I hugged him
"You seemed happy today"I looked at curiously
"Yes I'm happy because I have a friend now" he said smiling
"Really baby" I smiled too
"Yes, some man came to our school and he helped me become friends with his nephew"he said
"Aww God bless him" I hugged my son again
Because of that man, my son is so happy today. He normally comes from school with a sad face but today he's happy.
"Let's go to your room and change." I held his hands.
He continued talking about how amazing his day went and I kept starring at him. I thanked God for sending someone to make my son happy. I have missed my parents so much and they are not picking my calls so am worried at them. I hope they are fine.
