Maddie's POV

I am going to start working this Monday. I'm so happy, every since I got back with Ethan. We never hide anything from each other and I trust him now. Nate too is starting school , he hates going to school. He doesn't make friends in school because he's so arrogant like his father. Yes I have to admit, he is so full of himself. I have tried so many times to change him but he doesn't want to change. I punish him every time he behaves like that.

Today, I'm going out with Ethan's mom. She insists that we hang out today. I like her a lot now,she is sincere and beautiful inside out. I misunderstood her four years ago.
Flashback
"Mom, meet my girlfriend?" Ethan introduced me to his mother
"Nice to meet you ma'am" I extended my hands to greeted her but she rolled her eyes on me.
"Ethan, I want to talk to you in private"she said and ignored me like I'm not a human being.
When Ethan came back, I asked her if his mother liked me but I could tell from his face, she didn't like me. He assured me that she was not in a good mood that's why she behaved like that. I wasn't convinced, if someone doesn't like you. You will know it from the look of their and body expression when you talk to them.
I closed from lectures and I was heading to my apartment. I got a call and it was from Ethan's mother. I picked up and she asked if we can meet,I replied yes.
I enter the restaurant and saw her. I went to her and greeted her.
"I don't like you for my son"she bursts out. I knew this was what she was going to say. I have to comport myself so I glared at her and didn't say anything.
"I want you to stay away from him, you gold digger" she threw water at me and left.

Ever since that day, I didn't like her, but now I realize she is nice person and she has her reasons for behaving like that.
"Nate, we are going to meet your grandma" I was dressing him up.
"Grandma is here?"he felt so happy "did grandpa came with her?" I looked confused.
"Nate, what are thinking? I kissed his forehead, I was done dressing him.
"You said we are going to meet grandma, I missed them so much"he giggling
"We are meeting your daddy's mother and Not your grandparents at Georgia" I said. His facial expression changed. He is not the only who missed them. I miss them too especially my mom. I call them everyday to tell her what is happening here. Nate too talks to them anytime I call them. I guess we miss them in person.
"Nate, don't worry,we will visit them soon" I picked him up and we headed out. One of Ethan's workers approached us and told me he's my driver. I realize It was all Ethan's doings.

Mavis' POV

I'm going to visit my brother and tell him about Maddie and her son. Maddie has been avoiding me for three days now. I don't know why.
"Hey brother" I smiled at him. I have missed my brother so much.
"Hey sweetheart" he said.
"How are you?"I queried
"Great"he replied
"I found Maddie and his son, she is here in LA with her son. It seems that she hasn't found Ethan yet." I said
"What!!!! Don't be ridiculous, she is here because of him. She is going to steal him from you again. Reason up"he almost yelled
"No, I don't believe you. Maddie will never do that. She would have tell me if she has met Ethan. She told me that she is a single mother."I defended myself
"Mavis, don't believe her, believe me rather because I am your brother and I love you more than anyone in this world." He looked hurt
"Mason, Maddie is my friend now and she wouldn't lie, she is honest with me ever since I met her" I sighed " you are getting out next week and I'm going to kidnap Maddie and her son the day after tomorrow.
"That's my sister" he was delighted
