Chapter 14

Maddie's POV

Nate cried till we got home, I have decided to punish him for his behavior. I apologized to Mavis about what my son did. We were supposed to go hangout till 6pm but I have to leave early because of what Nate is doing.
"Go to your room and don't come until I tell you to!!!!!" I was so mad at him
"But mommy..." I cut him off
"Go now!!!" I hissed
Ethan came out of his study room and looked confused.
"What's going on here?" He asked
"Nothing" I replied
"Then why are you shouting at him" he looked annoyed
"Eerrmm.." I couldn't speak
"Nate, what happened when you went to the park with mommy?" I bend down to ask him
"Mommy and I didn't go to the park" he said honestly
"Nate go now!!!!" I shouted again
"Will you stop shouting at him? He is a child so you better control your temper" he glared at me
"Where did you go with mommy?" Ethan asked him again
"Mommy and I went to meet...."I quickly cut him off
"We went to meet a friend" I bowed down my head
"You have a friend? When did you start making friends? He softened
"Can we talk later" I pleaded

Ethan's POV

When I came back from the office , one of my bodyguards told me that Maddie went to the park with Nate. So I decided to work till they come back.

I heard someone shouting when I came out, it was Maddie yelling at Nate. I got angry because she can't control her temper. I approached them and asked her what happened, she explained but I got surprised when she said she has a friend. Maddie doesn't like making friends. It's so strange. She asked if we can talk later and I agreed. I picked up my son to console, he was crying so hard. I took him to his room and asked why is crying so hard.
"Big boy, why are crying like this?"I asked
"Mommy scolded at when we meet her friend."he answered
"Why?" I asked again
"I don't like her" he replied crying
"Stop crying big boy" I hugged
He was able to stop crying and we started playing. I'm curious about the girl Maddie met. I don't blame my son for crying because he might have a reason.

Maddie POV

I felt bad for shouting at Nate, he was rude to Mavis. Ethan was angry at me, I don't know what to do to make him understand what I did. I have to punish Nate whether he like it or not.

During dinner, Ethan was not looking at me. Nate was sitting on his laps, they were ignoring me. After they finished eating, they left me on the table. I felt sad and hurt. I'm going to talk to Ethan right now
I followed Ethan to his room. He was cheering Nate up. I knocked and entered
"Ethan can we please talk" I pouted my face
"Ok" he said
" I shouted at him because he was rude towards my friend. I didn't like the way he behaved, I know he is a child and he needs to be punished when he does something wrong."
"Don't you think that your friend May be weird that's he cried??! He said in stoic face
"No!!! She is not weird. She is a good person and I like her very much." I defended myself
"Do you mind tell me the name of your so called friend?" He queried
"Her name is Mavis Brown" I said
"What!!!!!" He shouted
