Chapter 10

Sorry for not updating 😒😒😒 I was writing my end of semester's examination.

I have decided to add Mason's POV as well as any other character in the story.

Ethan's POV

I had the best Christmas present ever because I had my own family with me. Maddie didn't give me cold treatment but I received a slap when I tried to take advantage of her sudden change of behavior. Christmas is finally over and Maddie said they have to leave soon. I'm sad, I don't know how to stop them from leaving.

My so called best Mason is in jail not because I reported him but he began stealing money from the company he worked for. I once visited him in prison and he confessed everything to me. He even apologized for breaking up my relationship. But unfortunately, I visited him again this Christmas, we laughed and chatted. I told him about Maddie but I didn't told him about my son. I have forgiven him and I'm not going to share my secrets with him ever again. And Mavis is a witch, she keeps following and disturbing me with her fake feelings that she claimed she has for me. I have to make sure that Maddie doesn't find out her or else she will leave me again.

Mason's POV

I have been in prison for two years now. I don't regret anything I have done. I intentionally apologized to him. He's so stupid to forgive me just like that. I am so happy that he hasn't found Maddie yet. But my partner in crime has found certain information about Maddie. She found out where she lives now and she has a baby. I know Ethan is the father and I don't care. I will be escaping from prison soon. Mavis is making arrangements for everything. I'm still going to kill Ethan and have Maddie, as well as their son. I'm going to be a great dad. We are leaving the country the moment I escape. We are going to live in Africa. I haven't decided the country yet but Mavis is doing everything possible. Mavis is my sister, I know she hates what she's doing from the beginning but I always find ways and means to convince her. She's in love with Ethan that's why she decided to help. I have been lying to her that Ethan loves her too but he's playing hard to get.

Maddie's POV

I have told Ethan that we're leaving but I just want to see his reaction. It's funny though. He's begging me to stay, he has even told his father to talk to me. I told his father that I'm not leaving, he was even happy how I'm making his son suffer small. I remember I slapped him when he tried to kiss me. I wanted him to but I won't allow him into my life again easily. My son is really happy.
Flashback
"Mommy, I'm so happy" he whined around
I picked him up and kissed him on his temple.
"Maddie" Ethan called but he was nervous. I couldn't control myself anymore so I laughed out loud. The arrogant rich man Ethan is feeling nervous to talk to me.
"Yes" I replied still laughing
"Why are you laughing?" He asked
"Never mind, please go ahead and say whatever you want to say to me" I smirked
"My parents wants us to come for dinner this evening" he signed
"Okay" I smiled
I prayed that his mother won't treat me like a trash anymore. If she does I will show her my bad side, I really mean it.
After Ethan left, I called my cousin who is also my best friend to wish him a Merry Christmas. I said I love you and ended the call but I saw Ethan looking that me. I know that he's hurt but I won't explain anything to him. Unfortunately, he didn't ask anything, I was amazed. Every since that day, Ethan started treating me differently. What I say is what he does. Ethan loves me so much and I feel the same way. I'm going to keep my man, No woman will come between us. I'm going to trust him again but I will never be a fool. I will fight for him, just like he's fighting for my love.
