Ethan's POV

I was so pissed off, my son spoilt my mood. He asked me if I'm okay, I smiled to assure that I'm okay. Maddie laughed at me, I glared at her but still she ignored me and continued laughing at me.
Nate slept on my chest,I could tell that my son really adores me so much.

Mavis' POV

I'm in love with Ethan and my brother insists that he loves me too but he's playing hard to get. I'm helping my brother to get out of prison, I really hate what I'm doing but I am doing it because of Ethan. I love him so much, but he doesn't love me back. Mason is the one who keeps insisting that he loves me back. Today I'm going to bribe one of the prison guards so that we can start the preparation. I hate myself right now because I have to kidnapped Maddie and her son before my brother comes out, they will be leaving the country the day he comes out of prison.

I'm going to be friends with Maddie first before kidnapping her, I'm traveling to Georgia soon. I have to do background check again before I leave.

Maddie's POV

Today, I'm going to shopping with Ethan's mother and my son. Ethan too is going to hang out with his father.

We reached the mall and Nate requested for an ice cream. His grandma bought it for me. We started shopping for child's clothes and shoes, then I realized that it's been awhile since I bought things for my son. Not that I don't have money but I have been busy with work. I have quit my job, I'm going to look for another one here. I hope Ethan allows me work, I really love to work, my parents got mad at me when I stared working in a supermarket when I was in high school. Working makes me feel relieved and happy, I know it's weird but that's me.

I excused myself to go to the bathroom, when I was going I bumped in someone. I quickly apologized but she looked surprised as if she knows me. I ignored her and entered the washroom. She entered too and said " hi ,I'm Mavis. Sorry for bumping into you like that."
"No problem, anyway I'm Maddie." I looked at her curiously. I have to be careful, she seems to know me.
"Can we be friends?" She asked
"Yeah please excuse me" I got out of there
I couldn't even do what I was about to do.
We exchanged contacts, at first I didn't want to give it to her but she seems friendly.
I returned to where Mrs Harrison and my son is.
"What kept you so long?" Mrs Harrison asked
"I bumped into someone" I replied and sighed.
She carried Nate and I carried the things we bought.

Three days later

It's been three days since I met Mavis. We have been talking on the phone. She's now my friend. I know it's been awhile since I had a friend. I used to have friends but they betrayed me, ever since that day I preferred been alone. I have decided not to tell Mavis about my personal life but she has told me hers. I feel bad for her because her brother is in prison for something he didn't do. She said, they framed her brother for stealing money from the company he worked for. I just told her about my adorable son.

Mavis' POV

I was coming out from the washroom and I bumped into someone. It was Maddie, I looked so surprised. She noticed it and ignored me. I followed her and talked to her. She seems like a nice woman and beautiful as well. She was kind to me even though she found me weird. We changed contacts. It's been three days and we are now close friends. I lied to her about my personal life. She believed me but she doesn't want to tell me about hers. She just me about her son and she's here to visit a friend.
