8. Why won't the past stop chasing me??!

Sky's POV:

When I woke up, Enderlox was already up. My amulet was in his hands. "So, you and me were friends?" He said coldly without looking at me. I looked around the cave. Krystal was already gone.

I was alone with Enderlox.

I nodded, because I wasn't brave enough to talk. Enderlox pressed the amulet, and then threw it to me. "Take it" Enderlox said. I obeyed, and took the amulet. It didn't have any scratches, it was perfect. I sighed in relief, and placed it in my neck.

Enderlox looked at me, the way he always had, With hatred and cold eyes. He opened my cell, and got inside. I flinched and tried to run, when I noticed he had his claws extended. "Don't hurt me please" I screamed, and placed my arms over my head.

But Enderlox didn't hurt me. He sat in front of me, and extended and arm over me. He had something in his hand, but his fist was closed so I couldn't see it. I slowly reached for his hand, trying my best to not be scared. But breathing loudly.

When my hand was close enough, Enderlox dropped my glasses into my hand. Well, what was left of them. The right lens was broken, and the frame had small bite marks of squirells. "I found them while I was hunting" Enderlox said. "What are those things?" he repeated, with a rather sweet voice.

That took me by surprise. "I- uh..." I stuttered playing with my amulet "They are glasses, they protect your eyes from the sun" "the sun exists to Light our days, and brighten the sky. You shouldn't want to protect from him" Enderlox said, looking into the cave ceiling. "But it can hurt your eyes.... Or at least if you are a human" I said. Remembering that Enderlox looked directly at the sun all the time.

There was an awkward silence for a while, and only small water droplets, falling into the floor were heard. "It started raining" I said, feeling the breeze, mixed with water mist. "Shouldn't Krystal be back? She could catch a cold" I said to Enderlox, who started looking at me.

Enderlox shook his head. "We take the advantage of the rain" he said, drawing something with his claw, in the floor full of dirt "when the rain comes, preys go to their houses, to feed their families and protect them, the smell of the rain, mixed with the wet floor makes it too difficult to them to detect our smell" Enderlox said.

"The rain can also make us have fun" I whispered to myself, smiling faintly. "What?" Enderlox questioned, looking at my eyes with curiosity.

I opened my eyes widely. Fuck, why did I say that?! "Nothing, I was just remembering.." I said, trying my best to hide the truth. "Remembering?" Enderlox questioned. I nodded, and looked at the ground. It was made of hard rock, but it was filled with dirt. "What did you remember?" Enderlox asked me. A sweet tone in his voice.

I started biting my nails, "I.. Uh.." I tried to say, but panic blocked me off. "Go on, tell me" he said, without sweetness anymore. "It.. It inc-cludes your past-t life" I said, biting my nails harder. "I won't hurt you" enderlox said, and shook his head. I nodded, even though I didn't believe I was safe.

"Some years ago... We would always play down the rain, and throw water balloons to one another" I said.

Enderlox's POV:

"Some years ago... We would always play down the rain, and throw water balloons to one another" sky said, looking into my eyes. Images flashed into my mind, round objects full of water making impact into a boy with green headphones, while the rain fell from the sky.

"What... The hell is a water balloon?!" I questioned, looking at sky with curious eyes. "It's a balloon with water" sky answered. I growled, and showed my fangs. "Okay, okay" sky said, biting his nails again. I smiled playfully.

"It's like a soft ball made of rubber, and you fill it with water" sky said, smiling back at me. I, then realized i was being too soft with him, and stopped smiling. Sky noticed, because his eyelids closed, and he faced down to the floor.

I kinda felt bad from him. I was about to say something to make him smile again. But I decided not to, and got out from his cell. I don't care, I don't care, I don't care.

The rest of the day was really boring. The rain was far from gone, and I passed all the afternoon sharpening my claws and teeth with the bones of a bunny.

Finally, Krystal returned to the cave. She brought a whole family of raccoons, three rabbits, a fox, two ducks, a robin and an egg.

"I'M HOME" she screamed, setting the preys with the others, and unwrapping a chocolate she got in Halloween, drops of water fell from her hair, and her clothes. "You got a good catch" I said, biting the fox. "Aww I wanted the fox" she said.

I was about to reply, when I heard sky's stomach. I sighed and rolled my eyes, throwing a raw fish to him.

Time skip

Before going to sleep, I decided to look at the stars. Today was full moon, and sky was beautiful... THE sky. Not sky. Ha, sky beautiful, haha, good joke enderlox... I-it was a joke right?!. I shook my head. Too much moonlight is making me go crazy.

When I entered the cave, I looked at sky shivering again.

I don't care, I don't care, I don't care... I shook my head and walked to my room when. *achoo*. I closed my hands into fists. And started walking towards sky. Ohhhh, I'm gonna regret this. I thought to myself While I entered sky's cell, and laid next to him, opening my wing to make him gain heat.

He wasn't asleep, and noticed, because he got closer to my body, resting his head near my shoulder. "I knew you still loved me" he said, but I don't think he wanted me to listen.

Loved? I loved sky? Images of me and sky flowed through my brain. In One of them, I could feel sky's heartbeat, while I kissed him in the lips.

That night I fell asleep with a lot of doubts on my head. Did I really love sky? Maybe that is why he was so upset when I found him. Because I didn't remember our love.

IS IT JUST ME, OR THE INTERNET IS SHIT IN EVERY CORNER OF THE WORLD?! (Corners of our spherical planet.... Good job flaky)

No, but really, I thought it was a thing because I live in South America, and here everything is shit, but I was talking to some friends earlier that live in the us, and they told me it was FAILING A LOT TOO, AND IT APPEARS THAT IN EVERY CORNER OF OUR SPHERICAL PLANET WE DON'T HAVE GOOD INTERNET!!

(Also, I'm sorry if I don't respond to some comments, WATTPAD, HAD THE GRAT IDEA OF NOT LETTING ME ANSWER COMMENTS, so, every time I try to answer a comment wattpad is just like: nope, something was wrong with our servers, wait another fucking hour to comment something)
