Finding Cream

"Too many stairs," Shadow panted as he limped up. "How big does this house need to be?" "Did anyone even live here?" Amy asked. "I bet maybe some century ago," Silver said. "But I don't think I want to travel back in time to see what happened to those that lived here." "Agreed," Blaze said. Finally, the stairs stopped, and they were back on flat floor. Suddenly, Tails thought of something. "Guys. I just realized," he began. "If Metal Sonic is here, do you think Eggman is here too?" They all looked at him. "Possibly," Sonic said. "I wouldn't know. I don't think Eggman would pull this off after what happened to me," Shadow said. "Well anyway," I think we're almost there," Rouge said. They continued to walk more and more, listening and looking at the rain as it came pouring down. There were then doors by their side. "Maybe Cream is in one of these rooms," Silver said. Sonic, who was up front, looked at the door. It had a number on it. He looked at the other doors and saw that they had numbers on them. "Probably not Silver," he said. "I think these are just bedrooms." "Let's look anyway," Blaze said. Sonic opened the door, and they looked in the room. Everything in the room was covered in a white sheet, and everywhere seemed so dark and dusty. "Geez," Knuckles said. "Some bedroom." The bedroom had a big king-sized bed, a window, and a dresser. Everything else was in sheets. "Let's all look in the others," Tails said. They nodded and looked. But every room was the same. Just with a different number on the door. They all had the same bed, same dresser, same window, same sheets. Shadow went to another door, and saw the numbers looked scratched. He suddenly held his head again. He started getting visions in his head! He had glimpses of Cream screaming and crying, and then thrown in! "Ah!" He screamed. They all looked at him and ran to him. "Shadow! What's wrong?" Sonic asked. Shadow slowly raised a hand, and pointed at the door. Sonic looked at it, and slowly opened it. He poked his head in, and looked around. It wasn't the same bedroom. It looked much creepier! There were plastic dolls and tea set cups on the floor, old and broken children toys, drawings amd coloring in pages, and a rocking horse that made a very creepy creaky sound. Sonic opened the door wide, and they all looked in. Suddenly, a voice came and made them all jump. "Mr. Sonic!" It said. Sonic knew that voice! "Cream!" He shouted. They looked around. "Where are you?!" Amy yelled. "I'm here!" She called out. "Come find me!" They all started to look around. They didn't know where Cream was specifically. "Where?!" Blaze called out. "I'm here! Come find me!" Cream called out again. Suddenly, they were getting confused. Why was Cream talking like that? "Where?!" Silver called out. "I'm here!" She called again. They then heard a sound. They turned and saw a little toy chest. And it appears there was something in the chest, and so the chest was jiggling. Sonic ran to it,but before he could open it, he heard Cream say, "You found me." But the way she said it...was kinda weird.... "W-Wait," Shadow said. But it was too late, Sonic opened it, and inside...was not Cream.... It was a puppet that looked like Cream! Sonic freaked at first but then slowly picked it up. Suddenly, the puppet talked again. "Hello Sonic. This message is brought to you by the Eggman Empire," she said. "This haunted house is your death trap. Good luck getting Cream out. Because when you do, you'll never get out of here ali...." But the puppet stopped there. Suddenly, the puppet's eyes glowed and its head slowly started to spin! "Alive!" It shouted. "Alive! Alive! Alive!" It kept shouting more and more, and the more it shouted, the faster the head spun! Sonic immediately dropped the puppet, and the puppet exploded in billions of pieces! They all screamed and covered their eyes, and then, they jumped as they heard a banging sound. It was coming from the closet! Sonic ran to it, and opened it up, and inside was Cream tied up! Shadow limped quickly to Cream and held her close! "Cream!" They shouted. Shadow removed the handkerchief that she was biting down, and untied the rope that was holding her tightly, and Cream cried and held Shadow tightly. At that moment, the door slammed from behind them, and the window was blocked! It was completely dark, until the room light turned on, and Metal Sonic came out from behind a portrait! Sonic screamed at first, but then he tightened his fists, and spindashed toward him! Metal Sonic immediately dodged it, and Sonic went inside the portrait! "Sonic!" They yelled. They ran toward the portrait, and went inside, but the portrait actually lead them down! It was a trap! But they didn't realize until one by one, they jumped and fell in, including Shadow and Cream!
