"Oh boy I love doing chores for little old Andy," Everett bounced up and down sarcastically in the passenger seat of their military truck.

Grayson rolled his eyes and continued leaning against the steering wheel, eyes on the road.

"Are we there yet? I love meeting new people that want me dead." Everett chuckled to himself.

"Almost...wish we didn't have to do this with some of Andy's men watching us like dogs." Grayson sighed at the thought of never being free.

"We'll find a way to lose them, I'm sure they'll get too jealous of our good looks and hilarious sense of humor that they'll just wander off."

Everett crossed his arms as the vehicle halted. "So that's where people would hole up huh?" he spoke again, taking in their surroundings.

Both military vehicles sat side by side in front of an outdoor mall complex. Of course, most of the signs for the shops were in terrible condition, some signs were just completely destroyed. Windows to the shops were broken but some boarded up, showing signs of survivors. "Alright, let's head out. Remember, try and be friendly at least until we know what we're up against." Grayson warned his best friend as he exited the truck.

"Shall we split up?" Grayson suggested to the other men as they met up.

"I don't think that would be what Andy would want." One of the guys glared at the other two.

"It's fine, we'll have one of you come with us." Grayson disagreed.

"It's all good, I'll watch these shitbags." A bald man stepped towards Grayson and Everett with a smirk. All his tattoos, even the one on his head didn't intimidate Grayson.

"Fine, let's just get a move on already." Grayson agreed, already walking away from the three of Andy's other men. The mall droned on in a big square, so they would eventually meet up in the middle anyway.

"Guess we better get a move on," Grayson muttered, looking up at the smoke forming in the sky. "Looks like the scavengers wouldn't be living here much longer anyway."
