His Nerd

Chapter 2

Lainey's pov:

We've been here for like 2 weeks already and we're starting school today. Like always I woke up at 5:40 to shower. It takes me a long time to shower I take my time amd enjoy the hot water.

Also I haven't heard or seen the neighbors at all, not even the boy in his room. I mean they might have gone to a 2 week vacation or somthing.

Yea I also forgot his name. I'm really bad with names okay you can't blame me with that.

Anywho Brighton left for College last week. It was sad because the night that we moved here she told my parents and yeah they were sad but happy for her, so last week we helped her move in to her apartment. Which is only an hour an a half away.

Right now I'm just getting my hair done which I don't do much to it I always put it up in a ponytail.

"Lainey it's time to go you're going to be late and it's the first day!" My mom yells from down stairs.

"Going!" Is all I say.

"One last check, cloths check, backpack check, shoes check, hair check, schedule check, and glasses check we're all good to go" I say while I stand infront of my mirror and look at my reflection.

As I go downstairs I see Rylee run out the door and that's when I freak out amd start running because I have to catch the bus and if I miss it then I can't go to school because I don't have a ride or my license.

Yea what a shame.

Once I'm outside I can see the bus coming and I quickly ran to the bus stop and go in.

The ride was about 5 min long and in those 5 min I memorized my whole schedule.

When I exit the bus I stood there in shock because of how big the school is and I don't remember the school being this big. This is also a private school for all the spoiled rich kids in town. The good thing about that is that it's one of the fewest private schools that you don't have to wear uniforms and theirs a couple of kids aren't spoiled. So yea.

After I finished 'admiring' the school I head straight to the office because someone's going to show me around the school before class starts.

"Hi I'm Lainey Knight..." I managed to say before the office lady interrupted me.

"Hi yea your 'tour guide' will be here in a little." She said with a smile, but seriously she said 'tour guide' I think I'm going to like it here. Hopefully.

A couple of seconds later a girl came in and talkied to the office lady (who I still don't know her name may I add) and pionted at me.

The girl nodded her head and started walking towards me with a big smile on her face.

"Hi I'm Madi, it's nice to meet you." She said still with a smile on her face.

I nodded my head and just stood there without saying anything. After a few seconds of awkward silence I looked up to see her and took a big breath and managed to talk.

"Hi I'm Lainey, it's noce to meet you too." My voice was so soft that I think she barely heard me.

"Let's go I'll show you around." Madi said walking out of the office with me following her.

"Hey Lainey do you want to be friends?" Madi asked me and I was surprised that she asked me that, I mean we just met eachother and she wants to be friends?

Just say yes how bad can it be? You at least won't be alone at school and we might have classes together.

"Yes" I say
