"SAY UNCLE, BITCH." Red had Tovuu pinned down, his arm behind his back and his face hovered over the red river. When Tovuu refused, she dunked his head under, the vampires that lived in there biting him hungrily.
Flapjack was tending to Ace, Eca, and Lawrence's wounds, covered in blood from everyone. He looked paler than usual, his eyes back to the light brown.
"Red," Bløød called, "That's enough."
His sister whined and got off of the god, Jorn looking at her with horror. He'd never seen anyone beat Tovuu before.
"How'd you beat my brother?" Jorn whispered under his breath curiously.
"Brother?" Red raised her eyebrows and looked at Bløød.
"This is Jorn Brandt," Bløød introduced. "My best friend."
Red looked at the twins, who were whispering and pointing at people. "Aren't you going to introduce me to... those people, Bløød?" She pointed with her pinkie to the twins, who paused momentarily at their mention but continued.
He shrugged carelessly. "They just showed up in Jorn's house."
"Those are my cousins, Azazel and Alvah Lupei," Jorn explained easily. He looked at the two. Azazel was slightly taller than Alvah, but they both wore bandages over their right eye.
The twins bowed at Red, making her uncomfortable. "I don't like them." She turned to her brother, eyebrows scrunched together.
"They will be gone soon," Bløød said reassuringly. "But I'm afraid we have another mission to make."
Flapjack's jaw dropped, and Red protested; "No. You didn't tell me about a second mission- I didn't agree to it." She scowled. "You can't make me."
The king smiled confidently. "Oh, don't worry. I won't take you now, not after that." He turned to everyone else. "You seven are coming with me to Earth. I'm afraid I can't tell you why yet, but we will be exploring many places there. You won't regret coming."
Red howled in anger. "Wait, you should've said that first!"
"It's too late," Bløød snickered. "Come on, boys." Jorn, Azazel and Alvah followed behind Bløød and Flapjack in a row, Lawrence, Ace and Eca behind them.
Red growled and jumped in Eca's shadow, determined to join them.
"Buckle up," Bløød said, "It's been awhile since I last teleported a large group of people. Might get rocky," He chuckled to himself. Pitch black darkness consumed them momentarily, Lawrence grabbing Ace's arm and digging his naturally long nails in his pale flesh, making him squeak.
They arrived at a quiet fountain with sculptures of humans. "The Medici fountain," Breathed Ace.
"Oops," Bløød chuckled, "I meant to go here!" He teleported them to a heavily populated area, cars honking and people crossing streets. He felt a little self-conscious, they were definitely an odd crowd.
Red crawled out of Eca's shadow like it was a hole in the ground.
"Wow! Humans are so cute!" She screamed, receiving some odd looks from people.
Lawrence put on his mask and screamed, "New York City!"
Flapjack stood in front of his brother, hyperventilating "What the heck are you doing? We can't be out in the open like this-"
"Shhhh, it's okay, my little prince," Bløød held his hands and smiled comfortingly. "We don't have any authority over these fucking fatasses, it's going to be a change. Don't you want to see how fun this'll be?"
"I guess," Sighed Flapjack.
"Here, let's try a less populated area," He said, teleporting them to a small convenience store. He pocketed a bag of chips slowly, interested in human food.
Eca wandered off, staying away from everyone else.
"Is this better?" The king asked softly.
"Much."
There was a click of a gun in the background. They turned to the noise and saw Eca holding a pistol against a fat bald man's head, who was also carrying a gun. "He pointed it first."
Flapjack whimpered at the look of the glistening man. "Eca, he probably has a disease, be careful." He watched the cat demon pull the trigger and then proceed to crush the human's skull under his foot.
"You're right, my bad," Eca rasped in his deep smoker voice. His high heeled boots clicked against the tile as he turned to walk off. "Ace, come look at these meat cylinders!"
Ace looked at the dead man sympathetically, but ran to Eca over the bloody corpse, the human's cherry trailing from his shoes and leaving prints behind him. "I'm coming!"
Flapjack watched Lawrence draw a pentagram around the dead man's body in his blood. "I sure love family field trips. Especially when they result in death." He laughed maniacally, but it faded off and he looked at his brother. "What the fuck is this planet doing to me?"
